Malcolm Chase punches nurse for stopping his suicide attempt at Tennova Hospital

On October 8th, 2022, 34-year-old Malcolm Chase was seen assaulting a nurse at Tennova. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Kathrin Dzimian, a nurse employed by Tenova and was in charge of taking care of Chase. Dzimian stated she observed Chase on the camera attempting to choke himself with a blanket by placing it around his neck. She then said she asked Jeremy Sisco, a security guard at the hospital, for assistance, and together, they attempted to take the blanket from Chase. Sisco and Dzimian both stated that Chase began assaulting them. Both claimed that Chase punched Dzimian in the face, making her fall. Following this, Sisco attempted to get Dzimian from the room. This prompted Chase to begin punching Sisco in the chest and shoulder. Officers were already on the scene and quickly intervened to stop Chase and to observe the injuries sustained by both. Chase was taken into custody on April 18th, 2024, and charged with assault and simple assault against a first responder.

Clayton Williams assaults ex-girlfriend during altercation at her home

20-year-old Clayton Williams was involved in a domestic altercation with his ex-girlfriend, Ashley Dickson, at her Ambleside residence on April 18th. Dickson contacted law enforcement, stating that she was assaulted by her boyfriend, Williams. Dickson went on to inform officers that she and Williams recently broke up. However, this did not stop Williams from coming to her home unannounced, claiming that he had come to pick up items that she had taken from him. After banging on the door several times, Williams entered the residence by opening the garage door. Dickson’s juvenile brother confronted Williams and told him to leave. Williams, in return, threatened to break Dickson’s brother’s jaw. Dickson ran outside to avoid a confrontation with Williams and called 911. While Dickson was calling 911, Williams grabbed her by her arm and slung her to the ground. Clayton Williams was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.

Shaquan Harris strangles, assaults ex-girlfriend in multiple incidents

On August 26th, 2023, 30-year-old Shaquan Harris was involved in a domestic incident with Mallory Hudson, his ex-girlfriend, at a Spring Water Apartment residence. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Hudson, who stated a verbal altercation with Harris had turned physical after he pushed her against a counter. Hudson then claimed that Harris proceeded to grab her by the throat and squeeze for five seconds, making her unable to breathe. Hudson advised the officers that she did not assault Harris in any manner.

On April 12th, 2024, Officers responded to a call for a burglary in progress, and when they arrived, they spoke with Harris’s ex-girlfriend. Hudson claimed he had removed his belongings from her residence earlier. When she returned home, she found that her television had been damaged. Hudson then claims that as she entered her bedroom, she noticed Harris attempting to hide under her bed. She then stated she started looking for her pistol but could not find it before Harris emerged from under the bed and began punching her in the face. Harris fled from the backdoor after taking her car and house keys off the counter. Hudson provided officers with surveillance footage. Officers noticed the wounds on her face, including bloody and swollen lips and eyes. Officers also noticed a fist and hand print on the television. Harris was taken into custody on April 18th for Vandalism, theft, domestic assault, aggravated assault, and aggravated burglary.

Joshua Fox attempts to burn apartment down with aerosol can during argument with wife

On April 18th, 31-year-old Joshua Fox was involved in a domestic incident with his wife at their Tower Drive apartment residence. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Joshua, who stated that Mrs. Fox, his wife, would not let him leave but did not provide any details. Officers then spoke with Mrs. Fox, who stated that Joshua was upset because vehicle issues prevented him from leaving. She then stated that Joshua had an aerosol can and a lighter and attempted to burn the house down. Mrs. Fox then claimed she attempted to take the can away from Joshua, but they both fell to the ground. Mrs Fox said that Joshua then grabbed a screwdriver and held it to her side, which made her back away from him. Officers found the aerosol can and screwdriver described by Mrs. Fox. Officers deemed Joshua to be the primary aggressor, and he was taken into custody for aggravated domestic assault

Michael Young punches girlfriend while she’s on the toilet during argument

On April 7th, 44-year-old Michael Young was involved in a domestic incident with his girlfriend, Kaisha Mcknight, at their Sunrise Drive residence. When officers arrived, they spoke with Mcknight, who stated that Young had fled before the officers arrived. Officers attempted to call Young multiple times but were unsuccessful. While speaking with Mcknight, she noted that Young was upset at her for communicating with another man he did not know. She then states that the argument became physical when he arrived home while she was on the toilet and threw beer in her face. Then, as Mcknight stood up from the toilet, Young punched her in the face multiple times. Causing swelling in Mcknight’s eye that officers noticed. Young was taken into custody on April 18th and charged with domestic assault.

Bobby Sims caught fleeing accident on Barkers Mill Road

71-year-old Bobby Sims was caught after fleeing the scene of an accident on Barkers Mill Road. On April 3rd, when officers arrived on the scene of the accident, they spoke with Dewanna McClellan, who stated that a black Nissan struck her vehicle. McClellan said the Nissan then fled the scene of the crash. Officers then spoke with Stephen McCormick, a witness to the crime, who stated he had followed the Nissan into the driveway of a Torrington Lane residence. McCormick notified the driver that they had fled the scene of the crime. Sims then refused to return to the scene and went inside the residence. Officers made their way to the residence, but nobody in the residence had responded to law enforcement. On April 11th, McCormick identified the vehicle’s driver to officers as Bobby Sims. Officers took Sims into custody for leaving the scene of an accident on April 18th.

DUI: Sarah Tucker swerves between lanes on Kraft Street

On April 18th, 37-year-old Sarah Tucker was seen driving under the influence on Kraft Street. Officers noticed Tucker swerved between lanes several times, prompting them to initiate a traffic stop. Upon contact with Tucker, they asked her to perform sobriety tests in which she appeared to show intoxication. Officers deemed her to be intoxicated and took her into custody for driving under the influence.

32-year-old Roger Kendrick was involved in a domestic dispute with his wife, Eternity Kendrick, at their Pinebrook Townhomes residence on April 17th. Eternity contacted law enforcement and stated that her husband, Roger, slapped her in the face several times. Officers observed redness on Eternity’s face, which led to them determining Roger as the primary aggressor. Roger Kendrick was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.

DUI: Stephen Holbert runs red light on Dover Road, tells officers “give me the f*cking felony!”

32-year-old Stephen Holbert was seen running a red light on Dover Road on April 16th. Officers made contact and noticed a strong odor of alcohol as they approached Holbert. Holbert immediately got out of the car and demonstrated clear signs of being intoxicated. Holbert admitted to consuming alcohol, so officers requested him to perform field sobriety tests. Holbert consented to the sobriety tests but ended up performing poorly. After being taken into custody, Holbert was read implied consent and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

While at the magistrate’s window, Holbert became aggressive and noncompliant, stating that he was not going to the hospital. Holbert repeatedly said, “Go ahead and give me the f*cking felony!” According to officers at the Montgomery Sheriff’s Office, it took four officers to get Holbert inside a patrol car. Due to Holbert’s aggressive nature, he was not transported to the hospital due to safety concerns. During the investigation of the incident, the NCIC reported that Holbert’s license was revoked on February 12th for a DUI. Stephen Holbert was transported to Booking, where he was charged with driving under the influence, driving on a revoked license, and failing to obey traffic signals.

Felix Davenport throws bag of groceries at brother during argument

On April 16th, 22-year-old Felix Davenport was involved in a domestic altercation with his brother, Josten Cagle, at their mother’s West Creek apartment residence. When officers arrived at the scene, they spoke with Davenport, who stated that the altercation had started when he threw a bag of groceries at his younger brother. Cagle agreed with Davenport’s statement and had visible injuries on his body. Officers took Davenport into custody for domestic assault.

34-year-old Nekiesha Biggerstaff was involved in a domestic dispute with her husband, David Biggerstaff, at their Dublin Drive residence on April 16th. David contacted law enforcement, stating that during an argument with his wife Nekiesha, she “used him as a punching bag.” David did not say how many times he was hit but stated that it went on for a while. Officers observed several scratches on David’s arms. Officers then spoke with Nekiesha about the incident, but she refused to provide any details. Nekiesha Biggerstaff was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.

Lamont Shepard assaults wife after learning she requested a divorce

39-year-old Lamont Walter Shepard had a domestic altercation with his wife, Amy Shepard, at their Bluebonnet Drive residence around 5:11 p.m. on April 16th. She called 911, stating her husband, Lamont, was chasing and shoving her throughout their home, trying to take her phone and car keys. When officers arrived, they spoke with Amy, and she advised them she told him that she wanted a divorce. Lamont became upset and demanded her cell phone and vehicle keys before yanking her purse, causing her to fall. Amy said he continued chasing her until police arrived. Lamont told officers he was angry after learning about her requesting a divorce. Because of this, Lamont stated he wanted her phone and car keys. Shepard was deemed the primary aggressor and then was taken into custody for domestic assault on April 17th.

19-year-old Logan Thurman caught breaking into multiple cars on Plymouth Road

19-year-old Logan Thurman was involved in the breaking and entering of vehicles on Plymouth Road on April 16th. Mattie Lewellen called law enforcement and informed them that a white male dressed in black clothes, and gray boots was on her Ring camera, checking door handles on cars and entering them. Officers arrived and made contact with Thrurman, who matched the description. Thurman was taken to the Clarksville Police Department, where he admitted to pulling door handles, entering multiple vehicles, and taking property from them. During the interview, Thurman stated that he hid all the items in a dumpster near the mentioned location. Officers went to the given location where all the items were recovered. Due to the incident, an arrest search was conducted, and officers found two sealed Buprenorphine and Naloxone patches inside his phone case. Logan Thurman was transported to booking, where he was charged with burglary of a motor vehicle and simple possession.

Officers arrived at the mentioned location and made contact with the couple. Both of them stated that they got into an argument, leading to Lipson getting mad. Both stated that Lipson then grabbed Smith’s t-shirt, and smacked him in the face. Officers observed redness on Smith’s face. 61-year-old Paul Carlton Winters II had a domestic incident with his girlfriend, Sonja Angel, at their Greenwood Avenue residence around 6:55 p.m. on April 17th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Angel, who stated she and Winters II argued. Angel stated the argument escalated when Winters II started throwing furniture onto the front lawn. Then, she said he grabbed the rocking chair while she sat in it and lifted it into the air, causing her to fear bodily injury. Winters II was deemed the primary aggressor and then was taken into custody for domestic assault.

40-year-old Derrick Goolsby was caught stealing from the Walmart on Madison Street on September 11th, 2023. Once Goolsby entered the store, he and another person, Shannon Davis, were seen grabbing merchandise and leaving. All the merchandise was recovered and valued at $458.48. Derrick Goolsby was taken into custody and charged with shoplifting and other out-of-county warrants on April 17th.

18-year-old Javeon Mayo caught lying to police during investigation of hit-and-run

18-year-old Javeon Mayo was caught giving law enforcement a fake identity at Tylertown Road on April 17th. Mayo was involved in a hit-and-run and was under investigative detention. During the investigation, Mayo provided officers with a false identity. Due to prior reports, officers were able to confirm Mayo’s identity through his Tennessee ID photo. Javeon Mayo was taken into custody and charged with criminal impersonation.

Erika Watson caught stealing inside of woman’s home

42-year-old Erika Watson was caught stealing items inside Darlene Cerda’s Evans Road residence on April 16th. Cerda contacted law enforcement and stated that there was a white female inside her home who did not have permission to be inside. Officers arrived and located Watson, and brought her outside. When Watson was initially placed into custody for trespassing, a search of her person revealed a stolen wallet containing documents belonging to Cerda’s daughter. Watson was also in possession of a glass pipe with burnt residue and several plastic baggies. Erika Watson was taken into custody and charged with aggravated burglary and unlawful drug possession.
