32-year-old Roger Kendrick was involved in a domestic dispute with his wife, Eternity Kendrick, at their Pinebrook Townhomes residence on April 17th. Eternity contacted law enforcement and stated that her husband, Roger, slapped her in the face several times. Officers observed redness on Eternity’s face, which led to them determining Roger as the primary aggressor. Roger Kendrick was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.

DUI: Stephen Holbert runs red light on Dover Road, tells officers “give me the f*cking felony!”

32-year-old Stephen Holbert was seen running a red light on Dover Road on April 16th. Officers made contact and noticed a strong odor of alcohol as they approached Holbert. Holbert immediately got out of the car and demonstrated clear signs of being intoxicated. Holbert admitted to consuming alcohol, so officers requested him to perform field sobriety tests. Holbert consented to the sobriety tests but ended up performing poorly. After being taken into custody, Holbert was read implied consent and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

While at the magistrate’s window, Holbert became aggressive and noncompliant, stating that he was not going to the hospital. Holbert repeatedly said, “Go ahead and give me the f*cking felony!” According to officers at the Montgomery Sheriff’s Office, it took four officers to get Holbert inside a patrol car. Due to Holbert’s aggressive nature, he was not transported to the hospital due to safety concerns. During the investigation of the incident, the NCIC reported that Holbert’s license was revoked on February 12th for a DUI. Stephen Holbert was transported to Booking, where he was charged with driving under the influence, driving on a revoked license, and failing to obey traffic signals.

Felix Davenport throws bag of groceries at brother during argument

On April 16th, 22-year-old Felix Davenport was involved in a domestic altercation with his brother, Josten Cagle, at their mother’s West Creek apartment residence. When officers arrived at the scene, they spoke with Davenport, who stated that the altercation had started when he threw a bag of groceries at his younger brother. Cagle agreed with Davenport’s statement and had visible injuries on his body. Officers took Davenport into custody for domestic assault.

34-year-old Nekiesha Biggerstaff was involved in a domestic dispute with her husband, David Biggerstaff, at their Dublin Drive residence on April 16th. David contacted law enforcement, stating that during an argument with his wife Nekiesha, she “used him as a punching bag.” David did not say how many times he was hit but stated that it went on for a while. Officers observed several scratches on David’s arms. Officers then spoke with Nekiesha about the incident, but she refused to provide any details. Nekiesha Biggerstaff was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.

Lamont Shepard assaults wife after learning she requested a divorce

39-year-old Lamont Walter Shepard had a domestic altercation with his wife, Amy Shepard, at their Bluebonnet Drive residence around 5:11 p.m. on April 16th. She called 911, stating her husband, Lamont, was chasing and shoving her throughout their home, trying to take her phone and car keys. When officers arrived, they spoke with Amy, and she advised them she told him that she wanted a divorce. Lamont became upset and demanded her cell phone and vehicle keys before yanking her purse, causing her to fall. Amy said he continued chasing her until police arrived. Lamont told officers he was angry after learning about her requesting a divorce. Because of this, Lamont stated he wanted her phone and car keys. Shepard was deemed the primary aggressor and then was taken into custody for domestic assault on April 17th.

19-year-old Logan Thurman caught breaking into multiple cars on Plymouth Road

19-year-old Logan Thurman was involved in the breaking and entering of vehicles on Plymouth Road on April 16th. Mattie Lewellen called law enforcement and informed them that a white male dressed in black clothes, and gray boots was on her Ring camera, checking door handles on cars and entering them. Officers arrived and made contact with Thrurman, who matched the description. Thurman was taken to the Clarksville Police Department, where he admitted to pulling door handles, entering multiple vehicles, and taking property from them. During the interview, Thurman stated that he hid all the items in a dumpster near the mentioned location. Officers went to the given location where all the items were recovered. Due to the incident, an arrest search was conducted, and officers found two sealed Buprenorphine and Naloxone patches inside his phone case. Logan Thurman was transported to booking, where he was charged with burglary of a motor vehicle and simple possession.

Officers arrived at the mentioned location and made contact with the couple. Both of them stated that they got into an argument, leading to Lipson getting mad. Both stated that Lipson then grabbed Smith’s t-shirt, and smacked him in the face. Officers observed redness on Smith’s face. 61-year-old Paul Carlton Winters II had a domestic incident with his girlfriend, Sonja Angel, at their Greenwood Avenue residence around 6:55 p.m. on April 17th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Angel, who stated she and Winters II argued. Angel stated the argument escalated when Winters II started throwing furniture onto the front lawn. Then, she said he grabbed the rocking chair while she sat in it and lifted it into the air, causing her to fear bodily injury. 18-year-old Javeon Mayo was caught giving law enforcement a fake identity at Tylertown Road on April 17th. Mayo was involved in a hit-and-run and was under investigative detention. During the investigation, Mayo provided officers with a false identity. Due to prior reports, officers were able to confirm Mayo’s identity through his Tennessee ID photo. Javeon Mayo was taken into custody and charged with criminal impersonation.

Erika Watson caught stealing inside of woman’s home

42-year-old Erika Watson was caught stealing items inside Darlene Cerda’s Evans Road residence on April 16th. Cerda contacted law enforcement and stated that there was a white female inside her home who did not have permission to be inside. Officers arrived and located Watson, and brought her outside. When Watson was initially placed into custody for trespassing, a search of her person revealed a stolen wallet containing documents belonging to Cerda’s daughter. Watson was also in possession of a glass pipe with burnt residue and several plastic baggies. Erika Watson was taken into custody and charged with aggravated burglary and unlawful drug possession.

55-year-old Milton Elliott was involved in an altercation with his son, Marquise Elliot, at their Abby Creek Drive townhome on April 16th. Marquise contacted law enforcement and stated that his father, Milton, assaulted him. Marquise explained the incident started over an argument about cologne that belonged to Milton. According to Marquise, while he was telling Milton that he didn’t take his cologne, Milton was yelling and spitting on him. Marquise stated that shortly after, Milton grabbed him and threw him against a wall. Milton Elliott was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.

Brittany Majors caught stealing $181 worth of merchandise from Walmart

28-year-old Brittany Majors was stealing from the Walmart on Fort Campbell Boulevard on November 14th, 2021. Security observed her bagging merchandise at the self-checkout without paying. The total value of the stolen items was approximately $181.40. Officers cited Majors for the violation that day. Majors was recently booked on the citation of shoplifting on April 16th, 2024.

Stephen Key punches girlfriend in face multiple times during argument

29-year-old Stephen Key, owner of Key’s Kuts, was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Sabrina Stauffer, at their residence on Southwood Drive on April 16th. Stauffer contacted law enforcement and stated that Key got physical with her. Stauffer noted that during an argument, Key threw objects at her in the garage and then pushed her down. According to Stauffer, while she was on the ground, Key punched her in the face multiple times. Officers did observe abrasions on Stauffer’s face as well as slight redness. While officers were placing Key in custody, he refused to put his hands behind his back. This led to him being placed on the ground, where handcuffs were placed on him. Once Key was escorted to a patrol vehicle, he refused to sit in the back, so he had to be forcibly placed inside. Stephen Key was charged with domestic assault and resisting arrest.

Andre Clifton shoots gun at ex-girlfriend’s apartment with young children inside

25-year-old Andre Clifton was seen firing a gun at the Miller Town apartments on April 12th. Witnesses of the incident stated that they all heard yelling and several shots being fired into their apartment and the apartment above. Witnesses also said they saw a maroon car driving away after the shots were fired. Officers contacted Clifton’s ex-girlfriend, Alexandra Pereira, the resident living in the apartment above the witnesses. Pereira stated that after an argument, Clifton went back to his maroon 2017 Chrysler 200 and pulled out a firearm. Pereira then threw a chair at his vehicle, prompting Clifton to begin shooting in her direction. Pereira returned to her apartment to protect her three children, all under the age of three. Law enforcement later contacted Clifton, who stated that he was not trying to hurt anyone and that he was only trying to scare her. Andre Clifton was taken into custody and charged with four counts of aggravated domestic assault on April 16th.

Maurice Smith assaults wife for wanting to end their marriage

27-year-old Maurice Smith was involved in a domestic altercation with his wife, Channie Smith, at their Ashford Place apartment on April 13th. Channie contacted law enforcement and stated that she and Maurice had been arguing most of the day. Channie added that Maurice was upset that she wanted to end their marriage. During the argument, he followed her upstairs and continued to argue with her. Maurice began throwing items around the room when they reached their bedroom.

Channie then went into the bathroom, where Maurice followed behind again and used his arm to push her against the door. Maurice attempted to take Channie’s phone out of her hands but ended up scratching her. Channie then almost fell into the bathtub, but when she agreed not to call the police, Maurice released her. Once Channie returned to the bedroom, Maurice followed her and kept arguing. Maurice refused to calm down and, at one point, grabbed Channie’s hand to pull off her wedding ring. Maurice Smith was taken into custody and charged with aggravated domestic assault on April 16th.

28-year-old Stephan Williams was seen sexually harassing his neighbor, Trista Anderson, at the Belle Forest at Memorial apartments on April 15th. Anderson contacted law enforcement and stated that while she was waiting on her child to get off the bus, Williams placed his hands under her butt in a “grabbing motion.” Anderson also stated that Williams mentioned having sexual intercourse with her while her husband was away from home. According to Anderson, she did not give him consent to touch her. Stephan Williams was taken into custody and charged with sexual battery.

Wild Flour Bake Shop owner Paul “PJ” Norton charged with rape after having relations with minor employee

According to Montgomery County law enforcement, the 42-year-old owner of Wild Flour Bake Shop, Paul Joseph Norton, was involved in statutory rape at the La Quinta Hotel on April 15th. On April 12th, law enforcement received an anonymous tip that Norton was having relations with a 17-year-old employee at his bakery. On April 15th, Investigators spoke with the anonymous caller again, who claimed the two had stayed at the La Quinta Hotel. Officers received camera footage of Norton and the victim going into a hotel room together and kissing each other outside of the hotel. The anonymous caller also stated that the employee personally told them that they were having a sexual relationship with Norton, which is why Norton rented the hotel room. Paul Norton was taken into custody and charged with aggravated statutory rape.

One dead after shooting inside Smoove’s Grill & Bar overnight

One person is dead after a shooting at Smoove’s Grill & Bar overnight, according to Clarksville Police. A 911 call was received at 12:28 a.m., reporting a person shot inside the bar-turned-late-night event center at 2150 Fort Campbell Blvd. Officers located one person with a gunshot wound to the abdomen inside the venue. Officers provided medical aid until EMS units arrived and transported the victim to Tennova Hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.
