40-year-old Shakina Allen was involved in a domestic altercation with her husband, Shawn Wright, on June 30th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Wright, who informed them that Allen, had struck him with her hand during an argument. Officers noticed an abrasion on his back that correlated with the statement. Allen was deemed the primary aggressor and was then taken into custody for domestic assault.

Soldier Lance Lisech flees police after speeding down I-24 West at 97 mph

24-year-old Soldier Lance Lisech was seen speeding and recklessly driving on I-24 West on June 29th. Officers observed Lisech’s white SUV traveling 97 mph in a 70 mph zone. Officers then initiated their emergency equipment and began pursuing the SUV. The vehicle then deactivated its lights and attempted to flee. The SUV exited the interstate at exit 11, reactivating its lights, and pulled over on the right shoulder. Officers then made contact with Lisech. Lisech was then taken into custody for speeding, reckless driving, and resisting a stop.

Soldier Cade Bakke drunkenly assaults wife during altercation over gun

24-year-old Soldier Cade Alec Bakke had a domestic dispute with his wife, Alyssa Gillespie, at their Airport Road apartment on June 28th. Gillespie told responding officers that she and Bakke had argued earlier. She stated she was upstairs in her bedroom while Bakke was drinking alcohol. Then, Bakke entered the bedroom, retrieved his pistol from the bookshelf, and returned downstairs. Gillespie stated this was when she followed him and told him he did not need to be messing around with a gun while he was drinking. Gillespie added that he was walking around the living room, pointing the gun to the ground before putting it in a backpack, which she took from him. Bakke pushed her into the corner of the living room when she did this. Gillespie then pushed him back, and he reached around her, grabbing the backpack. Gillespie stated this put her in fear of bodily harm due to the argument escalating. Bakke was then taken into custody for domestic assault on June 29th.

Colton Roddy caught with Magic Mushrooms, Ecstasy, & more during apartment search

20-year-old Colton Roddy was caught with drugs at his Walnut Street apartment on June 27th. Authorities conducted a knock and talk and contacted Colton Roddy and Rhiannon Reeves. After officers received permission from Roddy and Reeves to search their apartment, they discovered a bag of suspected Magic Mushrooms, a bottle of suspected Psilocybin capsules, and a bag of suspected ecstasy. Officers also found three bags of THC gummies, a bag of suspected marijuana, a metal grinder containing marijuana, a tray of suspected marijuana, various containers, digital scales, and three bongs. The investigation confirmed the drugs and found that the Magic Mushrooms and Ecstasy were around .5 grams while the marijuana was around 14 grams. Roddy was taken into custody for simple possession, drug paraphernalia, and schedule 1 and 2 drug violations.

18-year-old Anaja Akins assaults minor sister during argument

18-year-old Anaja Akins was involved in an altercation with her 15-year-old sister at their Falkland Circle residence on June 27th. Officers made contact with the victim, who told them that she was assaulted by Akins, who is also her legal guardian. The victim stated that during an argument on the stairs, Akins closed the gap between them and hit her, causing a fight. When officers spoke with Akins, she said she pulled her sister’s hair when she reached the top of the staircase. Akins was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Tristan Rogers swings on roommate after coming home to her room destroyed

22-year-old Tristan Nicole Rogers had a domestic incident with her roommate, Mackenzie Eaton, at their Plum Street residence in the early hours of June 27th. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Rogers, who stated that she arrived home around 7 a.m. and saw her room was destroyed. After seeing this, Rogers said she texted the house group chat, telling them, “I swear to go I am fighting every b*tch who has sum to do w/ this,” and “It’s up as soon as you wake up.” Rogers said she and Eaton started punching each other when she walked into the hallway. When officers spoke with Eaton, she corroborated Rogers’s statements. Eaton added that the fight continued into her room, where they both “swung on each other.” Rogers was then taken into custody for domestic assault.

Nelson Rosario threatens to kill girlfriend & himself with gun during argument over infidelity

37-year-old Nelson Joel Rosario, a JSR Group employee, had a domestic altercation with his girlfriend on June 27th. Rosario’s girlfriend alleged that she argued with Rosario about infidelity. During the argument, She stated he pulled out a gun and threatened to kill her and himself, placing her in fear of bodily harm. She added that she went to the bathroom, where he followed her, continuing their verbal dispute. Rosario then banged his head against the wall twice, leaving a hole. Then, She said she tried to shut the door, but Rosario rammed it with his shoulder numerous times. This caused the door to strike her, which left a visible mark on her arm. Rosario was then taken into custody for domestic assault.

Niklas Sujanani kicks brother in chest causing him to fly backwards during argument

21-year-old Niklas Sujanani was involved in a domestic altercation with his brother, Julius Campbell, while at their Fort Sumpter Drive residence on June 25th. When officers arrived at the location, they spoke with Campbell. Campbell stated that he and Sujanani argued about keeping house doors closed, which turned physical. Campbell informed officers that Sujanani had pushed him towards the back door and then proceeded to kick him in the chest, causing him to fly backward out the door. Video evidence was then shown to officers of Campbell flying backward a short distance onto the porch, but it did not show who or what caused it. Campbell then told officers that Sujanani had locked him out of the house and did not allow him inside. Sujanani was then deemed the primary aggressor, and he was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Derrick Wade Hughes strangles girlfriend with one hand during altercation

42-year-old Derrick Wade Hughes had a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Raynekiaqua Womack, at his Abby Creek Drive residence on June 13th. On June 17th, Womack alerted the authorities and advised responding officers of the incident. Raynekiaqua stated that Hughes strangled her with one hand after pushing her into the wall. She added that she could not breathe and that he released her after a couple of seconds. A warrant was issued for his arrest that day. Hughes was later taken into custody for aggravated assault on June 25th.

Camron Koops caught with stolen gun & marijuana after speeding down Fort Campbell Boulevard

22-year-old Camron Koops was seen speeding in a white Chevy Malibu on Fort Campbell Boulevard on June 25th. Deputies observed this and measured Koops going 64mph in a 45mph zone. Deputies conducted a traffic stop and made contact with Koops. Koops told deputies that she was hurrying to get home when deputies observed a 4 to 5-year-old boy sitting on a passenger’s lap. Koops told deputies she did this because the boy’s car seat took up too much space. While interacting with Koops, deputies observed the smell of marijuana from her car. Koops confessed that she had 8.4 grams of marijuana in her purse and handed it to a deputy. During a probable cause search of her vehicle, deputies found a Taurus G3 9mm reportedly stolen from Nashville. Koops was taken into custody and charged with theft of property, speeding, simple possession, and child restraint violation.

Darnell Smith grabs girlfriend by throat & strangles her during altercation

43-year-old Darnell Smith was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Roshik Merritt, while at his Whitfield Road residence on June 25th. When officers arrived at the scene, they spoke with Merritt, who stated that Smith arrived at the residence with a friend that Merritt did not want inside. Merritt informed officers that she told Smith she did not want the friend at the residence. Smith then proceeded to grab Merritt by the throat and begin strangling her, pinning her against the wall. Merritt noted that she felt like she was going to lose consciousness. Merritt then told officers that she, in self-defense, punched Smith two times in the mouth while she was being strangled to make him release her. Officers then spoke with Smith, who, when asked about his swollen lip, stated he did not know how his lip got injured and that no assault had occurred. Smith was then deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for aggravated assault.

Devaudo Gordon assaults girlfriend after taking her phone during argument

20-year-old Devaudo Gordon, employee of Walmart, was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Selena Sudine, at a residence on June 26th. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Sudine, who stated that she and Gordon had gotten into an argument that had turned physical. Sudine also informed officers that Gordon snatched her phone from her hand during the argument and walked away. Sudine then followed Gordon in an attempt to get it back. Gordon then pushed her away, causing a small cut on the inside of her lip. Sudine claimed she felt assaulted and was in fear of bodily harm due to the situation. Gordon was then deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.

22-year-old Lyric Applewhite was caught driving on a suspended license in her black Kia Optima on Highway 76 on March 13th, 2023. Officers observed this and then conducted a traffic stop. Officers cited her for the violation that day. Applewhite was later booked on the citation of driving while her license was suspended on June 26th, 2024.

Quadriceas Dunham jailed after altering NAI business checks to pay himself $9,820

24-year-old Quadriceas Zshonnie Dunham and Francis Robinson altered NAI business checks on November 7th, 2022. On November 30th, 2022, Wayne Wilkinson, Owner of NAI, reported that he wrote two checks from NAI that were forged into different amounts. He stated that one was issued to Eric Honeycutt for $1,551 but was altered to pay Francis Robinson $9,420. Wilkinson reported the other was issued to Dennis Pitts for $1,352 but was altered to pay Dunham for $9,820. Officers discovered the checks were deposited via mobile deposit into Dunham and Robinson’s accounts. A warrant was issued for his arrest on March 1st, 2023. Dunham was later taken into custody for forgery on June 26th, 2024.

Haley Rutledge lies to police about husband assaulting her because she was mad at him

27-year-old Haley Rutledge was involved in an incident with her husband at their Heritage Pointe Circle at 11:30 p.m. on June 25th. Officers met with Rutledge at the parking lot of an Exxon gas station on Trenton Road. Rutledge initially stated that she and her husband were arguing. During the argument, Haley said he grabbed her wallet away from her, and then they had a struggle over it. She stated this resulted in him slamming her onto the floor three times. Officers made their way to their residence and spoke with Rutledge’s mother-in-law. Rutledge’s mother-in-law told officers that her son left to cool off. She also informed officers that Rutledge told her there was no physical altercation on the phone. According to Rutledge’s mother-in-law, Rutledge made up a lie because she was mad at her son. Rutledge returned to the residence during the authorities’ interaction with Rutledge’s mother-in-law. When questioned, Rutledge admitted that she lied about her statements. Rutledge was taken into custody and charged with making a false report to law enforcement.

Cobie Vaughns throws phone in girlfriend’s face after learning she was cheating

25-year-old Nacobie Vaughns was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Briauna, while at his Walnut Street apartment residence on June 25th. When the officers, they spoke with Briauna, who stated that she and Vaughn had been arguing before she fell asleep. However, she informed officers that Vaughns woke her up by throwing her phone at her, causing her nose to bleed. Officers noticed a mark on the left side of her nose where the phone pushed her glasses in. Proceeding this, Briauna tended to their crying baby after she had woken up. Officers then spoke with Vaughns, who admitted he tossed the phone. However, Vaughns believed he tossed it on her chest and not her nose. Vaughns also noted he only did so after finding out she was cheating. Due to the statements made and Vaughn’s admission, he was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.

DUI: Darian Johnson crashes car after having “three drinks” before driving

19-year-old Darian Johnson was involved in a single-vehicle car crash at the intersection of Old Clarksville Springfield Rd and Highway 76 on June 25th. When officers arrived, they observed a black Hyundai Sonata with heavy damage to its right side. Once officers made contact with Johnson, they observed that he was visually impaired and smelt like alcohol. Johnson told officers he didn’t know where his wallet was and had forgotten to give officers the requested documents. When Johnson got out of his car, he confessed to having “three drinks,” prompting officers to ask him to perform sobriety tests. Johnson agreed but performed poorly, so he was taken into custody for driving while impaired and exercising due care.

Anthony Johnson punches wife in stomach after seeing her text another man

56-year-old Anthony Johnson was involved in a domestic altercation with his wife, Wanda Johnson, at their Sly Fox Drive residence on June 24th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Anthony, who stated that when he and Wanda were in bed, he noticed her texting another man. Anthony claimed he tried to grab Wanda’s phone, but she pushed him away with her hand on his forehead. Proceeding this, Anthony says he then got up, pushed Wanda away, and left the room to call 911. Officers then spoke with Wanda, who claimed that Anthony became upset at who she was texting. Johnson then punched her in the stomach before getting up out of bed. After this assault, Wanda claimed she tried to stand up from the bed, but Anthony pushed and kicked her back into the bed. Johnson then left the room, and both of them called 911. Due to the statements made, Anthony was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault on June 25th.

Anthony Duncan threatens to punch girlfriend while she’s holding baby

42-year-old Anthony Duncan was involved in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend, Teyana Moore, at their Cunningham Lane residence on February 13th. Officers arrived and were told by Moore that she and Duncan had an argument. Moore stated that she found something on Duncan’s phone that she did not like, so they started yelling at each other. Moore told the officers she had told Duncan to leave, but he refused. After the argument, Duncan confronted Moore in the bathroom while she was holding her baby. Moore made it known that she was holding her baby, but Duncan stated that he did not care. Duncan also threateningly asked who would make him leave. According to Moore, Duncan cocked back his arm while they were face to face. Moore told officers that this caused her to fear for her safety. Duncan then left before officers arrived. Duncan was later taken into custody for domestic assault on June 24th.

Ashlee Knight assaults boyfriend with candle during altercation involving cat

18-year-old Ashlee Knight was involved in a domestic altercation with her boyfriend, Anthony Salem, at a Keystone Drive residence on June 24th. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Knight, who stated that she and Salem were having an argument. Knight stated the argument that turned physical, which was common for them. Knight informed officers that Salem was yelling at her and grabbed her by the arms before throwing her onto the bed. Officers then spoke with Salem, who claimed that he was trying to put their cat in the room that Knight was in. In response to this, Knight tried to close the door on him and proceeded to hit him in the head with a candle.

Officers then noticed a bump on Salem’s head, consistent with him being hit by said candle. Salem claims that he then continued into the bedroom, where he grabbed Knight by the arms and threw her onto the bed. This is when Salem’s mother, Jennifer Dickinson, stepped in and attempted to separate the two. Dickinson was the only other person who had witnessed the altercation and told officers that she was woken up by the two arguing, which was common for them. Dickinson says she went to the bedroom where both parties were to separate the two. Dickinson then told them that they both needed to leave the house. They both proceeded to leave the residence. Knight waited across the street outside, and Salem left with a friend. Other officers were able to contact Salem and bring him back to the residence to get his side of the story. Knight was then deemed the primary aggressor, and she was taken into custody for domestic assault.
