Derick Deates headbutts police officer while “expressing his rage” for being arrested

34-year-old Derick Deates was seen assaulting his arresting officer at booking on July 27th. That day, Deates was on his way to jail, facing a criminal trespassing charge. Deates was reported to be “expressing his rage” at his arresting officer during the ride. When Deates arrived at the jail, he resisted the officers’ instructions. Eventually, Deates decided to follow his arresting officer inside. Once Deates was inside the booking area, he was prompted to sit on a metal bench; however, he refused. As the arresting officer attempted to escort Deates to the bench, Deates suddenly turned around and headbutted the officer in his chin. Deates was then detained and charged with assault against a first responder.

Soldier Levi Barron flees police on motorcycle during high speed chase on Fort Campbell Boulevard

27-year-old Soldier Levi Barron was seen recklessly driving and evading officers while on Fort Campbell Boulevard on July 24th. Officers noticed a sport-type motorcycle behind them in their rearview mirror. They saw the bike change lanes from lane three to lane one and accelerate rapidly, surpassing the speed limit. The officers then activated their emergency equipment to conduct a traffic stop on Barron. However, Barron turned around and accelerated the motorcycle even more. This prompted officers to turn off their emergency equipment and put out a description of the motorcycle to other units.

The motorcycle continued on Fort Campbell, turned onto Lafayette Road, and then back onto Fort Campbell Boulevard. Another set of officers noticed the motorcycle turning onto Dover Crossing and then onto Dover Road. Another officer observed the same motorcycle rider, who again accelerated at a higher speed to evade them. During the chase, officers observed that the motorcycle failed to stop at a red light on Dover Crossing and Fort Campbell Boulevard. Officers then obtained the motorcycle’s tag and discovered the address was on the Fort Campbell military base. Police contacted Fort Campbell, and the military police provided them with a description of the motorcycle and helmet.

They also noted that the motorcycle was previously stopped on June 14th and was issued a citation. The military police made contact with Barron at Fort Campbell. Officers noticed that he was wearing the same shoes as when he fled from officers. Barron later admitted to officers that he was the rider of the motorcycle. As a result, Barron was taken into custody for evading arrest, reckless driving, speeding, and not stopping for traffic control signals.

Enoch Moss indicted by Grand Jury for possessing over half an ounce of marijuana

A Montgomery County Grand Jury has indicted 25-year-old Enoch Moss for possession of marijuana, possession of more than half an ounce of marijuana, possession of a firearm as a felon, casual exchange, and possession of drug paraphernalia on or about September 30th, 2023. The indictment alleges that Moss had possession of this drug to sell or produce more. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $30,000.

Sibylle Nugent punches & slaps boyfriend after finding messages she didn’t like

52-year-old Sibylle Nugent was involved in a domestic altercation with her boyfriend at her Ashford Place apartment on July 23rd. Upon their arrival, officers engaged in a conversation with Nugent’s boyfriend. He explained that the incident began when Nugent found messages on his phone and started yelling at him. When Larry responded by saying, “It’s my phone, why does it matter?” Nugent started punching and slapping all over his body, including his face. Larry noted that during the assault, Nugent broke his glasses intentionally, knowing that he couldn’t get another pair.

When officers spoke with Nugent, she admitted that she had gone through Larry’s phone and became upset about what she found. Nugent also confessed to putting her hands on Larry to get him out her apartment door. However, Nugent denied ever breaking his glasses. Officers deemed that Nugent was the primary aggressor, so she was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.

Leslie Rolle strikes wife in face while she was “smoking hookah” during argument

39-year-old Leslie Lloyd Rolle had a domestic altercation with his wife, Stacey Rolle, at their Old Ashland City Road residence late July 22nd. When officers arrived, Stacey told them she and Leslie had a verbal dispute. Then, Stacey further explained that while she was sitting in the chair, “smoking hookah,” Leslie struck her in the face. Stacey noted this left abrasions on her right ear and cheek. Leslie Rolle was then taken into custody for domestic assault.

Chayla Crawford punches boyfriend multiple times in the face during argument

38-year-old Chayla Tarelle Crawford had a domestic incident with her boyfriend, Romeo Laprade, at their Cave Road apartment on July 21st. In the early hours of July 22nd, Romeo called officers to their apartment. He told officers that they had an argument that escalated when Crawford grabbed him by his shirt. Romeo added that Crawford punched him multiple times in the face and body, which Crawford later admitted to. Crawford was later taken into custody for domestic assault.

18-year-old La’Quavia Holt had a domestic altercation with her ex-boyfriend, Charles Fugua, at his Wildwood Drive residence late July 21st. A ring camera at Fugua’s recorded Holt pushing her way into the house before threatening to assault his grandmother. Holt was later taken into custody for domestic assault on July 22nd.

DUI: Samuel Lovelace IV reverses off road & into ditch on Monroe Street

39-year-old Samuel Lovelace IV was caught driving under the influence after being involved in a single-car wreck on Monroe Street on July 23rd. When officers arrived on the scene, they noticed a pickup truck had reversed into a ditch off the side of the road and into a fence. Officers then made contact and spoke with Lovelace IV, who told them he accidentally backed into the ditch. However, his story changed several times when asked why he was at the location. Officers then noticed Lovelace IV showed several indicators of intoxication. Lovelace IV rapidly changed topics multiple times while speaking with the police. Lovelace IV also quickly switched between being cooperative and being aggressive. When asked, Lovelace IV would not perform a sobriety test. Lovelace IV also did not agree to a blood sample, so he was transported to Sango ER, where a search warrant was executed for his blood. Lovelace IV also could not show proof of insurance. Lovelace IV was then deemed intoxicated and taken into custody for driving under the influence, exercising the car, and having no proof of insurance.

James Gaangin caught with brass knuckles after playing loudly playing music at 2 A.M.

39-year-old James Gaangin was caught with a prohibited weapon while listening to music in his car at a Drayton Avenue residence. Officers responded to a loud disturbance at the Drayton Drive residence. When police arrived, they spoke with a man, who was later identified as Gaangin, playing music in his vehicle. The officers told Gaangin that he couldn’t play his music that loud at 2 a.m. A woman on the scene helped Gaangin understand this, and he acknowledged them. Gaangin then grabbed a fanny pack, and officers noticed that he had a pair of brass knuckles on top of his vehicle, which are a prohibited weapon. Upon seeing the brass knuckles, officers asked Gaangin to put them down. Gaangin proceeded to put the brass knuckles on his hand. The woman then removed the brass knuckles before handing them to officers. Officers asked Gaangin three times to identify himself, which he refused after officers explained that brass knuckles were prohibited. Upon request, a supervisor arrived on the scene and explained to Gaangin that he needed to identify himself to be issued a citation instead of being arrested. However, Gaangin failed to identify himself and was then taken into custody for prohibited weapons.

Reba Eakes drives Saturn Vue with wrong tags on suspended license down Greenfield Drive

28-year-old Reba Ann Eakes was observed driving a white Saturn Vue with tags belonging to a Nissan Altima down Greenfield Drive late July 22nd. After noticing this, officers initiated a traffic stop near Daniel Street. When officers spoke with Eakes, she said she did not know the tag was wrong. A check with NCIC showed that Eakes’ license was suspended as of June 22nd, 2018, for failure to pay fine costs. Eakes had also been cited for driving on a suspended license on March 11th, 2024, April 16th, 2024, and June 11th, 2024. Eakes was then taken into custody for misuse of registration and driving on a suspended license.

DUI: Dana Clark crashes into ditch on Ashland City Road, tells police she did not see the curb

50-year-old Dana Clark was involved in a single-vehicle car accident after crashing into a ditch on Ashland City Road on July 22nd. When officers arrived and spoke with Clark, she stated she did not see a curb while turning into Estrada Tire Shop. While interacting with Clark, officers noticed several signs of intoxication, so they prompted her with questions. During questioning, Clark admitted that she had alcoholic beverages earlier in the day. Clark added that she had taken her prescribed medication as well. After a search that Clark consented to, officers found prescription pill bottles with labels that stated that they may cause drowsiness. Clark agreed to perform sobriety tests but showed signs of impairment. Clark was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence.

Sean Cartwright threatens to harm people while drinking in Sleep Outfitters parking lot

27-year-old Sean Daniel Cartwright was observed drinking an alcoholic beverage in the Sleep Outfitters parking lot on the afternoon of July 22nd. Then, officers noticed he was yelling while making claims of wanting to harm himself and others. Additionally, Cartwright claimed he wanted to commit suicide. When the police spoke with Cartwright, he reeked of alcohol and showed signs of impairment, so they detained him. Cartwright was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Joseph Kalinowski III puts tracker in wife’s car to make sure she doesn’t cheat

39-year-old Joseph Kalinowski III was caught placing a tracker in his wife’s car on July 20th. When officers contacted Kalinowski III, he informed them that he only put the GPS tracker in his wife’s vehicle to make sure she wasn’t cheating. Further investigation of the incident revealed that Kalinowski was not the registered car owner and didn’t tell his wife about the tracker. Kalinowski was later taken into custody and charged with placing an electronic tracking device on a vehicle on July 22nd.

Orlando Spivey flees after hitting man’s car while picking child up from football practice

36-year-old Orlando Spivey was seen fleeing the scene after a car wreck near Northeast Middle School on Trenton Road on July 19th. When officers arrived, they met with Nicholas Shaw. Shaw informed officers that when he picked his child up from football practice, a man, later identified as Spivey, side-swiped his vehicle on the driver’s side, causing damage. Shaw told officers he had talked to Spivey, informing him that he had hit his truck. However, Shaw stated nothing came out of the conversation. Shaw then described the man to officers before telling them that Spivey appeared intoxicated to him because of his slurred speech. Shaw also stated that he tried to exchange information with Spivey.

Still, Spivey refused and proceeded to drive to the children’s coach, pick up his child, and drive away. Officers then spoke with Coach Gaston, the children’s football coach, who stated that Spivey was unsteady on his feet when he exited his vehicle. Gaston also told officers that he saw two cans of Club Tail Screw Drivers beside Spivey’s truck when he drove away. Shaw and Gaston were both shown a picture and successfully identified the man to officers. Officers attempted to contact Spivey at his residence but could not do so. However, officers noticed the vehicle in the driveway had body damage consistent with striking Shaw’s’ vehicle. Officers also saw a Club Tails Screwdriver on the edge of the sideway at the residence. A warrant was then issued for his arrest, and Spivey was later taken into custody for leaving the scene of an accident with damage on July 22nd.

Trishawana Tulloch strikes husband multiple times during argument

24-year-old Trishawana Tulloch was involved in a domestic altercation with her husband on July 20th. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Tulloch’s husband, who claimed that he and Tulloch had an argument that turned physical. He claimed he had videos of multiple instances depicting the argument during the day. Officers then watched a video from earlier in the day that showed them both attempting to grab items they argued were theirs. Neither party was assaulting the other; however, both parties appeared to be continuously attempting to grab the items. Officers then watched another video that occurred 5 minutes before officers arrived, which showed Tulloch coming across their bedroom and striking the victim numerous times. Officers did not notice any injuries on the victim at the time.

Officers then spoke with Tulloch, who claimed that the argument first turned physical when they were in the closet. Tulloch claimed initially that the victim tackled her in front of the closet. Tulloch also informed officers that the dispute was over the property. Tulloch then admitted to “running up on” the victim before striking him. Based on the statements made and the time of the argument and video evidence, Tulloch was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.

36-year-old Kelly Ann Hughes was involved in a domestic altercation with her husband, Ryan Hughes, on July 20th. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Ryan, who reported that he had been in an altercation with his wife. Ryan claims that his wife was yelling and throwing things in the kitchen before he went to take a bottle to his children. Ryan alleges that while standing on the stairs holding the bottle, Kelly kicked the bottle out of his hand. This action caused the bottle to hit his face, resulting in his teeth breaking. The officers at the scene observed that Ryan had indeed lost teeth and found a metal orange bottle on the stairs. Kelly was determined to be the primary aggressor, and she was subsequently taken into custody for aggravated assault.

28-year-old Sherry Morales was involved in a domestic altercation with her boyfriend of two years, Raul Colon, at a Harvest Ridge residence on July 20th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Colon, who informed them that he had an altercation with Morales. Colon told officers that Morales had woken him up about trust issues regarding messages from another woman on his phone. Colon then claimed that the argument turned physical when Morales proceeded to slap him on the right side of his face. After this, Colon claimed to have then attempted to grab Morales’ arms in an attempt to restrain her from assaulting him. Morales then scratched Colon’s forearms, causing them to bleed. He reacted by quickly hitting her in the mouth and pushing her away. Due to the statements made, Morales was deemed the primary aggressor, and she was taken into custody for domestic assault.
