Michael Arrington caught living in stolen trailer worth over $30,000

36-year-old Michael Arrington stole a 2022 Heartland Prowler trailer in Sumner County on June 22nd, 2022. Arrington removed the VIN from the inside and outside of the vehicle to conceal the identity of the stolen trailer. Until November 13th, 2023, Arrington lived inside the trailer at Coburn Road, Clarksville, Tennessee, and Old Metal Road, Palmyra, Tennessee. The approximate value of the camper is $31,162.85.

In addition, On December 19th, 2023, Jamie Sauers reported to officers that he purchased a 2021 28ft Fleetwood Prowler travel trailer and a Ford F150 from Arrington for $1,500. Sauers advised officers that the camper was last seen at approximately 9:00 a.m. that day, and the camper was missing from his property on Ussery Road at approximately 5:30 p.m. Sauers stated that he never received the truck from Arrington. Sauers also said that he heard from an employee that Arrington was going to steal the trailer back from him. When asked by officers, Arrington stated that he took the camper back because he had yet to receive payment from Sauers. It was confirmed with Crystal Bailey that she received the money from Mr. Sauers and bonded Michael Arrington out of jail with the money. Mr. Sauers told me he also gave Michael Arrington $500 to help him out. The amount stolen was approximately $2,000. Michael Arrington was taken into custody and charged with property theft, auto theft, and burglary.

Trina Malone jailed after issuing worthless check to Montgomery County Clerk in 2019

43-year-old Trina Malone was caught issuing the Montgomery County Clerk a worthless check on April 30th, 2019. Malone issued a check worth $35 to the Montgomery County Clerk that day. However, Malone knowingly ordered a stop payment on the check before it could be cashed. This incurred an additional service fee of $25 on top of the original $35. Malone has not paid back the $60 owed to the County Clerk since that day. Malone was taken into custody for fraud – worthless checks on February 29th.

DUI: 19-Year-Old Timothy Reed crashes car after 2 shots of vodka

19-year-old Timothy Reed was involved in a car accident at the Marathon on Madison Street on February 29th. Officers made contact and noticed a strong odor of alcohol on Reed, who admitted to consuming two shots of vodka. Reed consented to sobriety tests and performed poorly. A search of Reed’s person yielded eight Gabapentin pills. Officers conducted a probable cause search of his vehicle and located two pipes with a green leafy residue. Reed was read implied consent and refused to provide a blood sample. Reed was taken into custody on February 29th.

Derrick Boling steals $79 worth of merchandise from Walmart

42-year-old Derrick Boling was caught stealing from the Walmart on Madison Street on January 27th. Once Boling was inside the store, he grabbed $79.86 worth of merchandise and walked out after concealing them. Boling was taken into custody for shoplifting on February 29th. Boling also has a history of shoplifting from Walmart in prior incidents.

Garrett Nash backhands ex-girlfriend in face during argument

27-year-old Garrett Nash was involved in a domestic altercation with his ex-girlfriend, Savanna Gulley, at her Ashford Place apartment on February 29th. Gulley contacted law enforcement to ask questions about removing Nash from her apartment. During the conversation, Gulley brought up an assault that occurred the previous day between her and Nash. Gulley advised that they were both intoxicated during the altercation. Gulley stated that she and Nash were arguing on the couch in the apartment. Nash became upset and struck Gulley in her leg. After that, he stood up and backhanded her in her face. The officers could not see any marks on her face from the incident. Officers later made contact with Nash while he was still at the apartment. Nash stated that the assault never happened. However, Nash said that during the argument, Gulley had her legs on him, so he pushed them off. Nash also declared that he never hit Gulley in the face. Garrett Nash was deemed the primary aggressor and taken into custody for domestic assault.

Donnell Mangum accuses girlfriend of infidelity, threatens to punch her

35-year-old Donnell Mangum was jailed on December 31st, 2023, for assaulting his girlfriend on Dunbrook Drive. Jeanette Paul told police that her boyfriend accused her of cheating on him. Paul advised that Mangum grabbed her by her wrist and took her phone to see if she had been talking to other men. Jeanette advised that she gave Mangum time to cool down, and later, they went to see the decorations downtown. While Jeanette was driving home, she and Mangum began arguing again. During this argument, Mangum said, “If you don’t stop, then I am two and a half seconds away from punching you in the face.” Jeanette continued driving to Mangum’s house, dropping him off and calling the police. Mangum was taken into custody on December 31st, 2023.

43-year-old Nina Norfleet was found stalking her son’s girlfriend, Desiree Anderson, at Commerce Street on January 30th. Anderson reported to law enforcement that Norfleet sent multiple pictures of her Ford Taurus to her son, Connor Bickford. Anderson provided officers with two photos, one of which was taken outside her residence and the other outside her place of employment. Anderson added that Norfleet was upset that she and Bickford are in a relationship. Nina Norfleet was taken into custody and charged with stalking.

Breionna Hooberry was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.

Brooke Walker steals $1200 from Gateway Credit Union by cashing checks multiple times

44-year-old Brooke Walker was caught embezzling money at the Gateway Credit Union on February 2nd. Walker remotely cashed a check for $500 on November 10th, 2023, at Gateway Credit Union and received the money. On November 12th, 2023, Walker cashed the same check again and received an additional $500.

After that check, Walker cashed a check for $700 on November 17, 2023, and received the money. Then, on December 13th, 2023, Walker remotely cashed the same $700 check and received the money again. On December 19th, Walker made a third remote attempt at cashing the same $700 check but was prevented. Gateway Credit Union tried to correct the situation by contacting Walker, but she did not come forward. Brooke Walker was taken into custody and charged with embezzlement on February 2nd.

DUI: Soldier Jonathan Vroman speeds down Fort Campbell Boulevard on suspended license

28-year-old Soldier Jonathan Vroman was seen swerving and speeding on Fort Campbell Boulevard early February 2nd. An officer observed this and identified Vroman as the owner/driver of the car. The officer searched the National Crime Information Center and determined that Vroman was driving on a suspended driver’s license. This led to the officer conducting a traffic stop. Once the officer contacted Vroman, he commented on the odor of an intoxicating beverage coming from Vroman’s person. Vroman then admitted that he had drank before driving. Vroman was then prompted to perform some field sobriety tests and demonstrated clear signs of intoxication. Jonathan Vroman was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence and driving on a revoked or suspended license.

31-year-old Jessica Johns was seen in a dark-colored Jeep swerving on Dover Road early February 2nd. An officer shortly conducted a traffic stop and observed that Johns was visibly intoxicated. 37-year-old Jennifer Bryant was caught giving misinformation regarding a sexual battery case at Firehouse Subs on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard on February 1st. During the sexual battery case, Bryant provided law enforcement with a statement that resulted in the completion of the case. Later on, Bryant informed law enforcement that there was no sexual assault. Bryant also advised that the information she gave regarding the case was false. Jayden Grammes stabs brother before slicing mother

19-year-old Jayden Grammes was jailed on February 14th after officers responded to Ashton Drive for a possible stabbing. Jordan Grammes stated that his older brother stabbed him and cut his mother, Jeanine Grammes, during an altercation in the kitchen. According to Jordan, Jayden charged him with a knife, which is when their mother stepped in to separate them, but the two men fell to the floor. Jayden continued to try to stab his brother and succeeded by severely cutting his pinky finger. Jeanine also sustained a cut on her left arm and a slash on the back of her forearm. 41-year-old Jaclyn Simpson was caught attempting to cash in worthless checks to The Villas at Heritage Pointe townhouses on August 21st. Simpson deposited a check worth $588.90 online and then, the next day, deposited the original check for $588.90. A letter was sent to Simpson asking for $1197.80, including a $20 return fee. Jaclyn Simpson was taken into custody and charged with fraud.

DUI: Soldier Matthew Thornton flees from accident

23-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Matthew Thornton was involved in a car crash at the intersection of Lafayette Road and North Liberty Church Road on April 5th, 2023. He reportedly left the scene of the accident and walked in the direction of Northwest High School. The vehicle was stuck on a utility pole guide wire with multiple airbags deployed. Officers observed military gear bearing the name “Thorton” and later responded to the Flats at Lancaster, where Matthew lived. They discovered blood in the residence, which matched the blood located inside the crashed vehicle.

Later, Mrs. Thornton, Matthew’s wife, came to the scene of the accident. She stated that she and Matthew rode together in her car to a friend’s house, where she dropped him off. Mrs. Thornton advised that Matthew had his phone with him at the friend’s house but originally stated his phone was showing the location of his vehicle. She also added that she was unsure about how he got back home.

Officers contacted Madison Swanson, the friend whom Matthew had been dropped off. Swanson stated that Matthew arrived disoriented and injured and that they had all been drinking earlier in the evening. At Swanson’s apartment, officers finally came into contact with Matthew, who had an injury to his thumb that was bleeding. A blood sample was taken, which came back .118% BAC. Matthew Thornton was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence.
