28-year-old Dante Blount was jailed after police responded to a domestic in progress at the Waterford Landing apartments on May 31st. Officers made contact with Blount in the parking lot of the apartments and observed the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from him. Blount was very upset and told officers that before they got there, he had a couple of shots. Blount was taken into custody for his safety. Officers went to Blount’s apartment to speak with his roommate. When officers opened the door, they observed marijuana, a scale, rolling papers, and a bong in plain view. Dante Blount claimed that all of it was his, so he was transported to booking and charged with simple possession and unlawful drug paraphernalia.
Dante Laron Blount of Westfield Court in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on June 1st, charged with simple possession and unlawful drug paraphernalia. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,500.
