60-year-old Dennis Hodges was involved in a domestic altercation with his stepson Lorenzo Mcmanus at a Cumberland Heights residence on June 3rd. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Monika Hodges, his wife, who stated that Mcmanus and Dennis had gotten into a disagreement. Hodges noted the disagreement was over Mcmanus paying the rent he owed Dennis. Both Mcmanus and Monika stated that Dennis became upset and pushed Mcmanus. This causing Mcmanus to fall and hurt himself. Officers observed Mcmanus to have minor cuts on his hands as well as a mark on the side of his face consistent with him being hit. Mcmanus told officers that he was punched and that Dennis threw several punches at him. Dennis was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.
Dennis Ray Hodges of Cumberland Heights Road in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on June 3rd, charged with domestic assault. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,000.
