39-year-old Osman Hernandez was involved in a domestic altercation with his ex-wife in their home on May 28th. On July 24th, Hernandez’s ex-wife reported to the police that on May 28th, Hernandez had assaulted her. She explained to officers Hernandez was angry that morning. She stated he accused her of inappropriate behavior with a customer in her craft shop.
She alleged that Hernandez then pulled her by her hair and shoulders, dragging her into a bathroom where he hit and strangled her. She said she lost consciousness while being strangled but eventually managed to break free. She then ran into the living room where her mother was for help. She claimed that once she was able to get free, Hernandez left the house and fled the scene. A warrant was issued for his arrest, and Hernandez was taken into custody for aggravated assault on July 24th.
Osman Joel Hernandez of North 11th Street in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on July 24th, charged with aggravated assault. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $500.
