41-year-old Ricky Tyrone Potter II was seen yelling at an attendant inside Peachers Mill Car Wash & Laundry on July 27th. Law enforcement was alerted by Travis Orten, who reported that an altercation broke out between Potter and two customers. Orten stated this led to the business attendant hiding inside an office because she feared Potter.
When officers made contact with Potter, they reported that he had the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and was demonstrating several signs of intoxication. Potter told officers he was only in the business to use the Wi-Fi. Potter was allowed to call for someone to pick him up but was unable to do so. Potter II was deemed a danger to himself and was taken into custody for public intoxication.
Ricky Tyrone Potter II of Roedeer Drive in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on July 27th, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $439.
