30-year-old Shanelle Bennett was involved in an incident with her husband, Earl Gordon Jr, at their Heatherwood Trace residence on August 4th. When officers arrived and met with Gordon, he stated that a physical altercation between him and Bennett occurred. Gordon explained they had an argument which led to Bennett punching him in the face.
Gordon then told officers that he attempted to separate himself from Bennett. He explained that despite this, she grabbed him as he was lying on the couch and dug her nails into his leg. When officers met with Bennett, she told them nothing physical had happened. Bennett was then taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.
Shanelle Sharmane Lacayo Bennett of Heatherwood in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on August 4th, charged with domestic assault. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $500.
