25-year-old Ethan Cory Beck’s driver’s side brake light on his Chevrolet Silverado was inoperable near Wilma Rudolph Boulevard and East Old Trenton Road on August 7th. After noticing this, officers initiated a traffic stop at the MAPCO parking lot. Officers noticed Beck and the other occupant looked at them through his mirror. Then, when officers approached the truck, Beck accelerated away from the gas pump before stopping near the parking lot’s exit.
The police told Beck to exit his truck and detained him for the incident. During a subsequent search of his vehicle, officers located multiple firearms, 135.7 grams of marijuana, a ski mask, ammunition, and a large amount of US currency. Officers later discovered that Beck had a suspended driver’s license after failing to pay fines as of March 11th, 2023. Beck was taken into custody for possession of drugs, possession of a firearm, unlawful carry of a firearm, drug paraphernalia, evading arrest, and driving on a suspended license.
Ethan Cory Beck of High way 41A South, Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on August 7th, charged with possession of drugs, possession of a firearm, unlawful carry of a firearm, drug paraphernalia, evading arrest and driving on suspended license. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $78,000.
