Bradley McCreery charges man $2,600 for new transmission despite not replacing it

47-year-old Bradley Owen McCreery fraudulently billed Pierce Curren at A Plus Auto & Diesel & Transmission Shop on March 8th. On May 17th, Curren told the police that he had taken his truck to A Plus Auto & Diesel & Transmission Shop for repairs on January 30th, January 28th, March 8th, and April 3rd. Curren added that they billed him $2,600 on the third visit to change the transmission. Then, after the fourth visit, Curren returned to the shop because he was having issues with the newly replaced transmission.

The dealership advised Curren that his vehicle still had the old transmission and confirmed it by the factory’s serial number. Curren further explained that he dealt with McCreery every visit and had a receipt stating that they had replaced the old transmission with a newer, used transmission. A warrant was then issued for McCreery’s arrest that day. McCreery was later taken into custody for theft on August 16th.

Bradley Owen McCreery of Cooper Creek Road in Woodlawn, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on August 16th, charged with theft. A judicial commissioner set his bond $20,000.
