26-year-old Brishiana Cota was stopped because of her window tint on May 6th. During the traffic stop, officers noticed a strong odor of alcohol. Cota admitted that she had drunk some alcoholic beverages before she started driving. Cota refused to perform sobriety tests because she said that she would fail. When officers checked Cota’s window with a tint meter, it showed that Cota’s window was 13% lower than the legal 35% limit. An officer also spotted a Cayman Jack Margarita in her car. Brishiana Cota was then taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence, having no proof of insurance, and having an illegal window tint.
Brishiana Lynette Cota of Golfview Place in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on May 6th, charged with driving under the influence, window tint, and no insurance. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $1,500.
