38-year-old David John Smith was observed driving his Ford F-150 recklessly near Trenton Road and Tiny Town Road around 6 p.m. on April 23rd. Officers noticed him in the parking lot of the 7/11 nearby, showing signs of impairment as he admitted to having three shots about 2 hours before driving to the gas station. He consented to sobriety tests and performed poorly. During a subsequent search, they located a small, yellow Diazepam pill rolled in a $1 bill with residue on it, a loaded .45 caliber handgun near his driver’s seat, and a brown bag full of 99-brand alcohol shooters with one open and nearly empty. After being informed of implied consent, he agreed to provide a blood sample.
