Parisss Berry tells mother she’ll “run up on her” after argument about coming home late

18-year-old Parisss Berry was involved in an altercation with her mother, Shontell Mosley, at the Crossland Manor Apartments on May 8th. When officers arrived, they split up Berry and Mosley so they could speak with them separately. Mosley stated that she and Berry argued over Berry coming home late and not going to work because of the weather.

Mosely went on to say that Berry had been making threats toward her throughout the day, saying that she was going to “run up on her.” Mosley then told officers that Berry ran up to her bedroom door and knocked, causing damage to the frame. When Mosley got up there with her, the two got into an argument, which led to a scuffle. A witness of the incident, Elijah Epperson, stated that he attempted to separate them, but Berry lunged past him and struck Mosley. Parisss Berry was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.
