Billy Rice booked after failing to appear in court for refusing to leave A&W Motel

36-year-old Billy Rice was seen publicly intoxicated at A&W Motel near Madison Street on June 21st, 2021. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Rice, who refused to leave the premises after being asked several times to leave by management. While officers were speaking with Rice, they noticed his unsteady feet, glassy eyes, and the odor of alcohol coming from him. Rice also admitted to officers that he had been drinking during the night. Rice was then given the opportunity to call for a ride but could not do so. Officers deemed Rice to be a danger to himself, so he was taken into custody for public intoxication. Rice failed to appear in court numerous times and was later arrested for Vandalism of utility lines and public intoxication on June 3rd, 2024.

Billy Justin Rice of Genesis Road in Crossville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on June 3rd, charged with public intoxication and vandalism of utility lines, fixtures, and property. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $11,000.
