49-year-old James Averitt was caught harassing and threatening Danny Ward on February 28th, 2022. Ward spoke with law enforcement, stating that he was contacted by Averitt, whom he never met in real life. According to Ward, he received numerous calls and text messages from Averitt, where he stated he was going to harm Ward and his children. Averitt also told Ward that he had been at several job sites where he worked. James Averitt was taken into custody and charged with harassment on May 17th, 2024.
James Vernon Averitt of Alington Road in Erin, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on May 17th, charged with harassment. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,000.
