39-year-old Jarrod Williams was involved in a domestic altercation with his wife, Kristin Williams, at his Samantha Lane residence on May 13th. Officers arrived on the scene and spoke with Kristin, who stated that she and Jarrod had gotten into a verbal argument that had turned physical. Kristin stated she was pushed to the ground by Jarrod, and then he proceeded to place his hands around her neck, choking her. Kristin told officers that she felt like she could not breathe and that she feared for her life. Kristin began to kick and punch Jarrod to get him off of her. As this occurred, Jon Schrader, a witness, was able to come into the residence to separate Jarrod and Kristin. Jarrod was then taken into custody for aggravated assault on May 14th.
Jarrod Zachary Williams of Samantha Lane in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on May 14th, charged with aggravated assault. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $5,000.
