53-year-old Martavious Brooks was involved in a domestic altercation with his wife, Demika Brooks, at their Montgomery Commons apartment on May 28th. Demika showed up at the Clarksville Police Department on May 29th and told them that her husband, Martavious, threatened to kill her. She stated that when she brought home groceries the day prior, Martavious became upset. During their argument, he told Demika that he was going to “Do her in the mouth” and told her, “I will blow your brains out.” Officers attempted to make contact with Martavious at his residence, but he refused to answer. Martavious Brook was then taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.
Martavious Dewayne Brooks of Cunningham Lane in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on May 29th, charged with domestic assault. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,000.
