25-year-old Victoria Eckles was observed publicly intoxicated near the Clarksville Police Department on Cunningham Lane on June 11th. Officers were called as Eckles refused to exit a vehicle. Upon the officers’ arrival, they approached her and immediately detected the smell of alcohol. When Eckles finally exited the vehicle, she could not stand on her own and had to use the vehicle’s hood for support. Since Eckles was homeless and had no safe place to go, she was considered a danger to herself and was taken into custody for public intoxication.
Victoria Bethany Eckles of Old Timber Road in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on June 11th, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $439.
