18-year-old Anaja Akins was involved in an altercation with her 15-year-old sister at their Falkland Circle residence on June 27th. Officers made contact with the victim, who told them that she was assaulted by Akins, who is also her legal guardian. The victim stated that during an argument on the stairs, Akins closed the gap between them and hit her, causing a fight. When officers spoke with Akins, she said she pulled her sister’s hair when she reached the top of the staircase. Akins was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.
Anaja Suhriyah Akins of Falkland Circle in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on June 27th, charged with domestic assault. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $250.
