49-year-old Brenda Hatch was involved in a domestic altercation with her boyfriend, Jason McDaniel, at Brewster Drive at 4:31 a.m. on July 6th. When officers arrived, Hatch told them that McDaniel strangled her during an argument. When officers met with McDaniel, he stated that while he was sleeping, Hatch started hitting him. McDaniel added that he grabbed her by the arms and started hitting her in the face but denied ever strangling her. Officers never observed any marks on either of them. However, Hatch was later taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.
Brenda Sun Hatch of Woodberry Forest in Pittsboro, NC, was booked into Montgomery County Jail on July 6th, 2024, charged with domestic assault. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $1,500.
