37-year-old Daryl Blas was reported as a suicidal individual at Senseney Dr at 1:17 a.m. on July 3rd. When officers arrived and spoke to Blas, he expressed that he was feeling suicidal and had a plan to end his life. The officers’ next course of action was to take Blas to the hospital for a mental evaluation. However, after a long conversation with Blas, he repeatedly stated that he was unwilling to go to the hospital. Officers attempted to put handcuffs on Blas, but he tensed up and pulled his arms away. After multiple attempts, officers took Blas to the ground and then handcuffed him. While Blas was being transported to a patrol car, he kneed an officer in the thigh and tried to do it again. Blas was then taken to booking, where he was charged with assault against a first responder and resisting arrest.
Daryl Robert Ullas Blas of Senseney Drive in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on July 3rd, charged with assault on first responder and resisting arrest. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $5,000.
