25-year-old Davin McDowell was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Lexus Tinsley, at their Oak Park Drive residence on July 12th. When officers arrived, McDowell told them nothing happened between him and his girlfriend. Officers then spoke with Tinsley, who stated that McDowell hit her but that she was okay.
Witnesses at the location provided officers with camera footage of McDowell slapping Tinsley across the face. Tinsley was seen falling backward and screaming for help from a passing car. Officers deemed McDowell the primary aggressor, and then he was taken into custody for domestic assault.
Davin Cyrill Christian McDowell of Oak Park Drive in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on July 12th, charged with domestic assault. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $500.
