39-year-old Travis Stansberry was seen swerving lanes in a black Chevy Silverado near Guthrie Highway and Wilma Rudolph Boulevard on July 3rd. While looking for the vehicle, officers spotted it at a gas pump at Twice Daily on Alfred Thun Road. When officers made contact with Stansberry, he couldn’t stand or sit still and appeared to be twitching. Stansberry was asked to perform sobriety tests, consented, and performed poorly on them. Stansberry was then taken into custody. A search of Stansberry’s car revealed an empty Bahama Mama and Mike’s hard lemonade can inside the truck. Officers also found a folded piece of paper that contained fentanyl, two small bags with five pills of Buprenorphine Hydrochloride, and a black bag with two glass pipes with burn marks and residue. Stansberry was taken into custody for simple possession, unlawful drug paraphernalia, DUI, and implied consent violation.
Travis Dale Stansberry of Old Dover Road in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on July 3rd, charged with simple possession, unlawful drug paraphernalia, DUI, and implied consent violation. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $12,500.
