19-year-old Karina Lorge was observed driving recklessly and speeding with a minor in the car near Dover Road on July 6th. Officers began following Lorge and another vehicle on Lylewood Road and noticed they were traveling at 81 mph in a 40-mph zone. While on Dover Road, Lorge and the other vehicle reached speeds of 100 mph in a 65-mph zone. Additionally, officers saw a passenger in Lorge’s vehicle hanging out of the window, with more than 50% of her body outside the vehicle. The officers then activated their emergency equipment and conducted a stop. The passenger was identified as a 16 year old juvenile. Lorge claimed she was “just having fun with friends.” Lorge was then taken into custody for reckless endangerment and reckless driving.
Karina Sofia Lorge of Needmore Road in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on July 6th, charged with reckless endangerment and reckless driving. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $3,000.
