Airrek Black robs Luigi’s Pizza Delivery Driver at gun point, tells him to “drop the pizzas”

18-year-old Airrek Black was involved in the robbery of a Luigi’s Pizza delivery driver on July 26th. An employee from the store reached out to law enforcement to shed light on how the incident initially unfolded. The employee stated that he received an order from a “Jamal” requesting an order of five pizzas to a residence on McGee Court. As he approached the entrance of the residence, he was greeted by two black males in ski masks in the doorway. The employee reported that one of the males had a gun in his hand and told him, “You may as well go ahead and drop the pizzas.” The employee dropped the pizzas and left the area.

When officers arrived at the McGee Court residence, they made contact with Black, who matched the clothing and physical description the victim gave. During a search of the home that Black consented to, officers discovered five pizza boxes with receipts listing the name “Jamal.” Additionally, officers found a backpack with a Glock 22 handgun and a ski mask inside near the pizza boxes. While interviewing the other individuals at the scene, they stated that the backpack belonged to Black. Black was taken into custody and charged with aggravated robbery.
