DUI: Cedric Thomas crashes car on Highway 76 after drinking can of Corona beer

38-year-old Cedric Thomas was involved in a car crash on Highway 76 on August 17th. When officers made contact with Thomas, they observed that he smelled like an alcoholic beverage and was showing signs of intoxication. After agreeing to sobriety tests, Thomas showed several signs of impairment.

Once officers read Thomas implied consent, he refused to provide them with any chemical sample, so he was taken into custody. While searching Thomas’s vehicle, officers found an empty can of Corona beer in his driver-side door. Thomas was later transported to booking and charged with driving under the influence and implied consent violation.

Cedric Gerome Thomas of Cotton Court in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on August 17th, charged with DUI and implied consent. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $2,500.
