50-year-old Dana Clark was involved in a single-vehicle car accident after crashing into a ditch on Ashland City Road on July 22nd. When officers arrived and spoke with Clark, she stated she did not see a curb while turning into Estrada Tire Shop. While interacting with Clark, officers noticed several signs of intoxication, so they prompted her with questions. During questioning, Clark admitted that she had alcoholic beverages earlier in the day.
Clark added that she had taken her prescribed medication as well. After a search that Clark consented to, officers found prescription pill bottles with labels that stated that they may cause drowsiness. Clark agreed to perform sobriety tests but showed signs of impairment. Clark was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence.
Dana Danielle Clark of Jarrell Ridge Road in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on July 22nd, charged with DUI. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $2,500.
