Jasmine Peralta jailed after shooting bullet through person’s ceiling while cleaning her gun

23-year-old Jasmine Peralta was jailed after shooting through her Liberty Homes apartment on August 29th. When officers arrived, they spoke with the person living beneath Peralta. She stated that a round had been shot through her bedroom ceiling while she was inside the room. While looking at the hole found in the victim’s bedroom, officers found a spent shell casing on the ground.

Officers later made contact with Peralta, who stated that while she was trying to clean her gun, her finger was on the trigger. Peralta stated because of this, she accidentally discharged a round from the gun. Peralta was then taken into custody for reckless endangerment and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.

Jasmine Faith Peralta of Stateline Road in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on August 29th, charged with reckless endangerment and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $25,000.
