Fort Campbell soldier Austin Pristavec charged with DUI; case of Busch light in truck

24-year-old Austin Pristavec, a Fort Campbell Soldier, was jailed on July 16th after police observed him swerving and operating a cell phone on Fort Campbell Boulevard. When police pulled him over, they smelled alcohol coming from the vehicle, and Austin admitted to drinking earlier that evening. He agreed to sobriety testing and performed poorly. The search of his vehicle yielded a case of Busch Light on the floorboard along with a loaded Smith & Wesson Springfield 9mm. Austin blew a .093% BAC on a breathalyzer. He has no prior DUI history.

Jacob Frazier bites girlfriend after she pulls hair out of his head, then drags her by throat, per witness

23-year-old Jacob Frazier was jailed on July 13th for assaulting his girlfriend, Bre’Anna Griffin, after an argument. Police responded to Lancaster Road and spoke with Ms. Griffin, who explained that things turned physical when she threatened to call her boyfriend’s mother due to their argument. Frazier then followed her into her bedroom, pulled her phone from her hand, and pushed her onto the bed, where they got into a physical struggle over the phone. Ms. Griffin advised police that during the struggle, she had to pull a piece of hair out of Frazier’s head to get him off of her, and he retaliated by biting her shoulder. Ms. Griffin tried to run to a nearby bathroom, where Frazier followed a second time. While in the bathroom, Frazier grabbed her by the throat and dragged her out before slamming her onto the floor, where they entered a second struggle on the floor until she was able to escape and call 911. Police also spoke with her sister, Brittany Griffin, who stated she observed the entire altercation from beginning to end.

According to Frazier, Ms. Griifin threw a glass at him before approaching him to physically attack. He claims he had to grab her and push her to get her off of him. He was adamant that he did not physically assault her and only flipped over a desk on his way out of the bedroom. Based on statements from all parties, Frazier was determined to be the primary aggressor.

Jeffrey Cummins found unconscious on Riverside Drive

38-year-old Jeffrey Cummins was jailed on July 13th after officers found him lying unconscious on Riverside Drive. After a few sternum rubs, Cummins woke up. He had slurred speech, bloodshot watery eyes, and smelled strongly of alcohol. Police determined him to be a danger to himself as he had no idea where he was, and he was taken into custody and transported to booking.

Yada owner Darla Knight & daughter Morgan jailed on felony aggravated burglary charges in Nashville

56-year-old Darla Knight, owner of Yada on Franklin, and her 30-year-old real estate agent Daughter, Morgan Knight, were both charged with aggravated burglary when they broke into Morgan’s ex-boyfriend’s house, stealing and destroying his property, and emptying a bottle of lube on his bed.

Around 9:30 p.m. on July 20th, MNPD responded to a possible aggravated burglary at 24th Ave; when they arrived, they spoke to the victim, Raymond William Johnson III. Raymond told officers that he had camera footage showing a 2011 Black Chevrolet Suburban pulling into his driveway and then Darla and Morgan Knight exiting the vehicle. Officers reported Darla and Morgan were able to be identified via the footage without question, and the registration of the Chevy Suburban showed that it was registered to Darla Knight. The door was broken into as if someone punched the deadbolt, per the report. The footage shows Darla pointing to the camera as if she planned on committing the burglary without Raymond knowing, officers noted.

When police spoke to Raymond, he said that he and Morgan had broken up in June on amicable terms. He said that he had just recently started seeing another woman. Raymond showed police a text message that Morgan sent his mother stating that she saw notes in their house from the other woman, and that is why the relationship was over. Police found a note on Raymond’s chalkboard with Morgan’s signature under it reading, ” Do not call me or try to reach out. I hope you two live your best life. I only took what was mine.” During the investigation, police found broken picture frames, an entire bottle of lubricant poured onto Raymond’s bed, drywall damage, and all of Raymond’s schoolwork wiped from his computer, valued at over $16,000 for the semester. They took several items, including bedding and curtains, valued over $1,100 as well as caused over $880 of damage to other household items. Raymond’s Glock 19 pistol was also stolen with a value of over $2,000.

Darnykka Hillsman punches through boyfriend’s windshield & house window

39-year-old Darnykka Hillsman admitted to breaking her ex-boyfriend’s car windshield and one of his windows with her fist on July 15th. CPD Officer Vojta responded to Cranklen Cir. and spoke with Igwe Nwagwu, Darnykka’s ex-boyfriend, who told him that Darnykka broke his windshield and house window. Darnykka admitted to it and Officer Vojta notice a cut and some blood on her left index finger. Igwe showed Officer Vojta video footage of her breaking the house window and he observed blood on the windshield.

Sasha Roberson jailed for cocaine and marijuana possession

26-year-old Sasha Roberson, on July 16th, was seen kicking a bag under a car by Officer Pequignot while he was placing another person into custody. Officer Pequingnot found the bag under the car closest to Sasha that contained under 14.5 grams of field-tested-positive marijuana. She admitted that the bag was hers and then consented to a search of her vehicle and house. Field-tested-positive cocaine and more marijuana were found during the search.

Daequan Walton blows over double legal limit on breathalyzer; speeding at 84 mph

21-year-old Daequan Walton was observed doing 84 MPH and weaving through traffic on Providence Blvd. on July 17th by MCSO Deputy Ryherd. Deputy Ryherd conducted a traffic stop and spoke to Daequan, who admitted to drinking a six-pack. Another officer took over and evaluated Daequan’s sobriety test; he performed poorly and agreed to take a breathalyzer test. His BAC was 0.194 at that time.

Timmicka Falls attacks boyfriend at Shelby’s Trio restaurant in downtown Clarksville

20-year-old Timmicka Falls went to Shelby’s Trio to start an argument with her boyfriend, Carter Katruska, who worked there, on July 14th. CPD Officer Johnson responded to the call and spoke with Carter, who said that she came there to argue with him. He told the officer that he tried several times to ask her to leave, as he did not want to do that while he was at work, and walked away. At this time, he said Timmicka became belligerent, slapped him, and left the business. She also shoved Oniel Brooks, another Shelby’s Trio employee, who tried to get Timmicka out of Carter’s face. Carter pointed to several cameras telling her that her behavior was being recorded. Security footage corroborated all of Carter’s accounts of the situation.

Jamarre Burnett charged with DUI after leaving N’Quire nightclub in Clarksville

22-year-old Jamarre Burnett was found asleep in a vehicle stopped in the middle of Ft. Campbell Blvd. outside Taco Johns on July 16th. CPD Officer Gonzalez responded and found Jamarre asleep, and woke him up by knocking on the driver’s side window. He was asked to step out of the car, Officer Gonzalez noted that he smelled strongly of alcohol and marijuana, and asked if he had been drinking. Jamarre stated that he had not been drinking and was coming from N’Quire off Riverside Dr. Officer Gonzalez questioned him about the direction he was headed in and stated that he did not know his location. He then performed poorly on a sobriety test and had blood taken at Sango ER before being booked.

Demichael Bowling charged with assault of younger sister with household items

18-year-old Demichael Bowling was charged with domestic assault on July 14th when CPD Officer Westerlund responded to Ladd Dr. and spoke with Demichael and the victim, his juvenile sister. His sister said they were arguing when Demichael started throwing household items at her. She stated that she left the house toward the intersection of Hassel Dr. and Vanleer Dr. when Demichael ran up to her and hit her in the back causing her to fall on the asphalt. CPD Officer Westerlund reported bruising on her right elbow and right shoulder.

Damon Perry spits in father’s face, kicks through door

19-year-old Damon Perry Jr., on June 13th, allegedly spat on his father and kicked the garage door of the home on Peachers Mill Rd. CPD Officer Myers arrived at the victim, Damon Perry Jr.’s father, Damon Perry Sr.’s home, for a domestic assault call. Damon Perry Sr. told Officer Myers that he got into an argument when Doamn Perry Jr. spat in his face. The argument was about the little brother being handcuffed by the police the night before June 13th. The father said that when he told his son to leave, that is when he spat in his face, went into the garage, and kicked the door with an estimated value of $1,000. Damon Perry Jr. was also booked on August 16th, 2022 for burglary and attempted burglary.

Toshiana Holloway throws wash rag at father of her child, pushes his face!

24-year-old Toshiana Holloway spoke to CPD Officer Price on July 15th, who was called to her residence on Mccormick Lane for a domestic in progress. She said that she argued with the father of her child, Deveon Byers, the victim, who she threw a wash rag at and pushed his face while bathing their child. When CPD Officer Price spoke to Deveon, he stated that she threw the rag at him, hit him in the face multiple times, and swung at him while he attempted to descend the stairs causing him to fall. When falling down the stairs, Deveon said he was unsure if she hit him during that time. Minor cuts were observed on Deveon by CPD Officer Price.

38-year-old Drew Smith was booked on July 12th on an outstanding warrant from June 15th when Reda Home Builders reported that surveillance showed Smith taking four 31 Group batteries out of their shop and putting them into a white SUV on June 1st without permission from the company. One battery cost $250, and the total amount of stolen batteries was $1,000.

Trevonda Tusie assaults ex-lover while driving, crashes into another car

44-year-old Trevonda Tusie was jailed on July 11th after assaulting her ex-boyfriend while driving and causing a crash on Trenton Road. She told police that Dontaive Jackson grabbed the steering wheel during an argument causing them to crash into another car. Jackson told police that prior to the fight over the steering wheel, Tusie hit him in the face and scratched his neck. Police observed a bruise on his left cheek and red abrasions on the left side of his neck. Jackson reportedly tried to get out of the car after he was hit to avoid any further conflict, but Tusie sped up, preventing him from exiting.

31-year-old Kira Pace was booked on July 10th after threatening to assault a coworker. Amanda French reported that she and Kira were working together on Hereford Boulevard when Kira started telling and making threats to assault her and then, before leaving, threw chemicals on the walls and her vehicle, causing approximately $600 worth of damages.

Alexander Byrd charged with assaulting wife during her birthday celebration

34-year-old Alexander Byrd was booked last week for assaulting his wife at their home on Hudson Drive. Officers first spoke with Alexander, who said that he and his wife had been drinking for her birthday and got into an argument, but nothing physical occurred. Kristy also told police that they were drinking and got into an argument, so she went out to her car to cool down. According to Kristy, her husband came out and started shaking the car and telling her to go back inside. When she went back inside, the argument continued, then Alexander came up behind her and restrained her by grabbing her arms. He was deemed the primary aggressor and transported to Montgomery County Jail.

Ryan Rushton charged with drug possession in Walmart parking lot

25-year-old Ryan Rushton was jailed last week after police responded to a welfare check in the parking lot of Walmart on Fort Campbell Boulevard. An Anonymous caller stated that there was a man falling over and appeared to be on drugs. When police arrived, Rushton was on his hands and knees, pulling grass out of the ground. The officer stood in front of him, but he didn’t notice and appeared to be falling asleep on his hands and knees. He woke up distraught and consented to a search. The officer discovered a clear plastic case that contained a very distinct “corner baggie” The officer explained “corner baggies” are often used to store small amounts of illicit substances. Right next to Rushton, in a shopping cart, was a headphone case; inside the headphone case was a cut straw and a “corner baggie” of fentanyl weighing less than 0.5 grams.

DUI: Grace Standridge crashes into pole after two tallboy’s Four Lokos

21-year-old Grace Standridge was jailed last week for a vehicular crash with injuries on College Street. Standridge was driving her red Subaru Impreza and crashed into a pole in front of B&L Market. A witness stated that she saw Standridge run from the crash. Officers found her near the bridge between College Street and Wilma Rudolph Boulevard. She was transported to Tennova and read her Miranda Rights. She agreed to speak without an attorney present. Standridge told the officers that she and her friend Mr. Mekhi Bogertey had just left the Revel House and decided to turn into the parking lot of B&L Market.

She admitted to drinking to “tall boy Four Locos,” She smelled strongly of alcohol and had bloodshot eyes. She consented to a blood draw but then refused to let the nurses draw her blood. Standridge was driving on a learner’s permit and did not have a valid driver over the age of 21 with her. Mr. Bogertey was transported to Skyline Medical Center for his injuries which consisted of a broken leg or hip and lacerations to his head.

William Ragland blows 0.254% BAC after crash

26-year-old William Ragland was booked last week for driving drunk into a utility pole, causing ‘catastrophic’ damage to the vehicle and the surroundings. On April 13th, Ragland was driving a Chevrolet Silverado eastbound on Highway 76 and ran off the left side of the road near Gateway Plaza Boulevard and struck a utility pole and several fences before stopping on its side. The passenger’s side of the truck was resting on the ground, while the driver’s side was skyward. The truck hit the utility pole seven feet from the ground. Ragland did not have a seatbelt on and was partially ejected from the truck. The vehicle sustained catastrophic damage, the utility pole had to be replaced, and the fences sustained about 50 feet of damage. Ragland blew a .254% BAC on the breathalyzer, and it was later discovered that he was driving on a suspended license.
