Brooklyn Major assaults woman after breaking into her home during altercation

19-year-old Brooklyn Major was caught after assaulting Hattie Perez at a Bridgette Drive residence on August 8th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Gloria Perez and her children, Hattie and Nathan Perez. All three parties informed officers that Major and a Juvenile had been sleeping on their couch for the last week and a half. Hattie, however, had informed them that their landlord did not allow anyone else to live at the residence and that they had to leave. She claims that both Major and the minor had initially left the residence, but they returned to pick up the items they had left there. Hattie then claims to have placed their items on the porch and, upon their return, informed them that their things were on the porch. Hattie and Gloria told officers that they both began banging on the door and demanding to be let inside to retrieve other items they claimed were still in the house. Hattie then advised that the pair then forced the door open and forced entry into the house, where they then began attacking her. Nathan, who was across the street, then ran towards the residence. Gloria, Hattie, and Nathan all became involved in a physical fight with Major and the juvenile. Officers then spoke with Neighbors who stated they witnessed both Major and the juvenile force their way into the house and attack Hattie at the door. The neighbors also claimed to have seen the two in and out of the house for about two weeks. Major was deemed the primary aggressor, and she was taken into custody for aggravated burglary.
