30-year-old Fort Campbell soldier Joshua Michael Strunk was charged with DUI on December 29th. Police say they were called to the Screaming Eagle Cigars on Ft. Campbell Blvd after Joshua was stopped by an employee as he was driving away because he appeared intoxicated. He was sitting in his car with the engine running when officers arrived and admitted to having “a few” alcoholic beverages earlier in the evening. According to police, Joshua was unsteady on his feet, had watery, bloodshot eyes, and slurred speech. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and blew a .168% BAC on a breathalyzer.

Sherryl Hollis bites son in front of officers who responded to 911 call

58-year-old Sherryl Denise Hollis was charged with domestic assault and resisting arrest on December 30th after police responded to a possible suicidal subject at her apartment on Cobalt Drive. Police say Sherryl bit her son, Brandon, as she was upset he called 911 and he was attempting to calm her down. As officers were conducting their investigation and decided to place her under arrest for the domestic assault, she resisted arrest by placing her hands to her chest, planting her feet, and refusing to sit, requiring officers to pull her into the squad car to be transported to Montgomery County Jail.

Sarah Moore charged with underage possession of alcohol when found drunk on Cheatham Drive

19-year-old Sarah Jessica Moore was propped up against a knocked-over recliner when Clarksville Police came into contact with her on December 28th. They were responding to a domestic incident on Cheatham Drive. 29-year-old Miranda Lynn Spurr was charged with two counts of domestic assault on December 28th. According to police, Miranda reportedly headbutted her husband, Shaun Spurr, and his brother, William, while arguing with them. Shaun told police she yelled, “I will kill you,” and “I will slit your throats,” after he and his brother barricaded themselves in a bedroom and used a dresser to block the door. 57-year-old Paula Jeanice Northcutt is charged with aggravated assault after reportedly threatening her husband with a gun for having an affair. Paula told police she knew her husband had been having an affair as recently as three days ago and when he came home around 4:30 a.m. and went to bed downstairs. He says she then grabbed the firearm and had it down at her side, and went downstairs to confront him about the affair. He disarmed her during the argument and physical altercation and secured the gun in his vehicle until the police arrived. She admitted to having a couple of glasses of wine before he got home while “thinking about the situation” and placed his things outside the home after the argument.

23-year-old Tessa Nicole Travis is free on a $70,000 bond after Clarksville Police raided her home on December 28th to execute a search warrant. 26-year-old Tegan Ann McGregor was charged with aggravated assault on Christmas Eve after her fiancé, Rossview Middle School teacher Ashley Meece, says she threatened to kill her after grabbing the victim’s Glock 43X handgun from the dresser. The couple reportedly had a verbal argument over “personal issues” that escalated quickly as Tegan pulled the gun from the holster. 26-year-old Patrick Lee Wedding was charged with public intoxication just before midnight on December 26th in front of Blackhorse Pub & Brewery on Franklin St in downtown Clarksville. He was heavingly intoxicated and became a public annoyance, according to officers, as he reeked of alcohol and had trouble standing. 41-year-old Dawson Riley Darnell faces vandalism charges after police say he kicked in the door of his girlfriend’s home after she had just helped him move his belonging out of the house. Officers responded to the Mossy Oak Circle address just after 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, where Amy Reynolds explained she had just helped her boyfriend of two years load all of his belongings into his vehicle after they had spent the day arguing. After everything was outside, she locked the door. Moments later, the doorbell rang, and she didn’t answer it as she had no desire to continue the argument. Darnell then kicked through the front door, destroying it and the frame, retrieved his cell phone, and left the property.

Stephen Pirtle jailed after walking out on drug screen for probation

31-year-old Stephen Keith Pirtle reportedly walked out on a drug screen for probation on December 12, causing a warrant to be issued for his arrest for violating the terms of his probation. The state has also requested his prior suspended sentence of 11 months and 29 days be re-instated for this violation, as well as not providing proof of Narcotics Anonymous meetings and still owing court fees, costs, and probation fees. He was booked on the outstanding warrant on December 27th.

The original sentence stems from a domestic violence case earlier this year in which his wife, Machaela Jex Pirtle, provided a video to police of her husband threatening to kill her. He claimed to be drunk and did not remember the comments. At the time of that arrest, he was in possession of a methamphetamine pipe and a bag of crystal meth weighing over a half-gram.

45-year-old Robert Hale Wilson was arrested and charged with punching his stepfather, Mike Alexander, in the face and breaking his glasses. Robert told police his stepfather started yelling at him for no reason and pushed him, causing his replacement teeth to fly out.
