41-year-old Valerie Elizabeth Knight was trespassed from the Madison Street Walgreens in May. On December 1st, the manager on duty noticed she was inside the store and contacted the police, who found her near the ATM. As she was being arrested for criminal trespass, she was searched before being placed into the patrol car. Officers found prescription pills inside a small tan cloth bag. She claimed she was prescribed the pills but was unable to provide a prescription or the bottles.

Steven Louissaint backhands ex-girlfriend, breaking her nose
Police say 26-year-old Steven Louissaint broke the nose of his ex-girlfriend, Shawanda Mason, after she called him a bitch. He was giving Mason and their daughter a ride to the hospital to be seen, as the daughter was sick. On Dover Road, he began to argue about relationship issues and called her names. She responded he was a “bitch,” and he backhanded her, which broke her nose, according to responding medics. In addition to the aggravated domestic assault charge, Loussaint was violating the conditions of his release.
Soldier Marc Taylor, 19, charged with DUI after leaving Electric Cowboy at 2 a.m.
19-year-old Fort Campbell soldier Marc Anthony Taylor was weaving between lands near Ft. Campbell Blvd & Quinn Lane just after 2 a.m. Friday. A traffic stop was initiated by Clarksville Police, who said he had slurred speech and advised he was coming from The Electric Cowboy and heading to Fort Campbell. Taylor was charged with DUI and transported to booking.
Trinidad Jurado charged after breaking roommate’s Google Chromebook
41-year-old Trinidad Soriada Jurado is charged with vandalism after officers say she took her roommate’s Google Chromebook and threw it onto the ground, causing damage to the plastic and the keyboard of the computer. The victim, Drakkar Cotton, estimates the damage at approximately $200.
Brandon Pulley dead after being restrained during assault on his mother
Brandon Pulley is dead after police say he began an unprovoked attack on his mother, Connie Bearden. Her husband, Henry Bearden, attempted to defend his wife by restraining their adult son, which left him dead.
Corey Johnson charged in roommate rumble over late-night TV & gaming
18-year-old Corey William Johnson and Luis Garcia Paz are roommates, and in the early hours of Friday morning, Clarksville Police responded to their Audrea Lane home, where the two were having a domestic spat. Paz stated he had asked Johnson to turn off his TV at 10 p.m. as the two had agreed on when Johnson moved in a month prior. Johnson refused, and Paz turned off the TV in Johnson’s bedroom. Johnson got out of bed and approached Paz aggressively. Afraid of being hurt, Paz pushed him back onto the bed and held him down.
Johnson says Paz entered the room and unplugged his gaming console after demanding he turn off the TV. He says Paz pinned him to the bed and held onto the side of his neck. Johnson was determined to be the primary aggressor.
Soldier Brandon Martin pushes wife into laundry basket during argument
26-year-old Fort Campbell soldier Brandon Matthew Martin was in an argument with his wife, Kristen Martin, late Friday evening in their bedroom. She says the argument escalated and moved to the living room of the home, where he yelled and screamed at her. He reportedly approached her aggressively, causing her to push him to keep him away. In response to the pushes, she says Brandon threw her onto the floor and into a clothes basket.
She got up and punched him in the chest before the fight ended. Brandon claimed the argument was only verbal, and nothing occurred. He was determined to be the primary aggressor and was taken into custody.
DUI: American Pride Boxing owner Kelvin Garcia hid alcohol after crash at church
38-year-old Kelvin Joel Garcia, who owns American Pride Boxing in Clarksville, crashed his vehicle at Williams Chapel Baptist Church on Needmore Road at 9:26 a.m. Multiple witnesses stated that “a bald male” ran from the red truck and carried a white bag to the tree line and returned without the bag. Officers made contact with Garcia back at the vehicle, where they found him to be visibly intoxicated.
He admitted to drinking “last night” and claimed to have never left the immediate area of the wrecked vehicle. Officers located the bag in the treeline, and it contained several consumed alcoholic beverages and one can that was still cold to the touch and freshly opened. Garcia performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was transported to booking.
Austin Mellender jailed for felony auto theft & two handguns
18-year-old Austin Michael Mellender is jailed in lieu of a $50,000 bond charged with the theft of a 2020 Ford Escape from Rheann Vera. Officers located him inside the vehicle with two male juveniles, ages 13 and 14, on Pageant Lane with 15 grams of marijuana and a loaded .22 magnum revolver, which was also reported stolen. He attempted to flee during the arrest but was captured after a brief foot chase. A search also revealed a 9mm handgun in the pocket of his hoodie. During an interview, it was learned all three individuals participated in the vehicle theft.
Lashawn Marshall in assault of ex-girlfriend / mother of his child at Food Lion
22-year-old Lashawn Antonio Marshall is charged with domestic assault after his ex-girlfriend and mother of his child, Leiliana Crider, says he grabbed her neck and applied ‘forceful pressure’ while in the Food Lion parking lot. Officers documented visible marks on her neck. Marshall claims he never made contact with the victim, and it was only a verbal argument.
Nathalie Araujo pushes into home of ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend, demands to see him
Police say 23-year-old Nathalie Cristle Araujo Salazar arrived at the home of the mother of her ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend, demanding to speak to see the father of her child. She repeatedly knocked on the door, causing alarm to the ex-girlfriend’s mother. The mother partially opened the door, and Nathalie crossed the threshold and charged through the doorway in an “assaultive manner.” The mother shoved her backward, pushing her down the stairs in front of the residence. Nathalie Araujo Salazer is charged with felony aggravated burglary.
One dead in shooting outside N’Quire Bar & Lounge’s ‘Set It Off Saturday’ overnight
At 1:56 a.m. Sunday, a 911 call was received reporting a shooting outside of N’Quire Bar & Lounge at 700 N. Riverside Drive. A fight reportedly started inside the club and ended in gunfire in the parking lot. The victim, Jeffery Daniels was life-flighted to a Nashville hospital, where he died. Saturday night was ‘Set it off Saturday’ at the club, and the club was packed with partiers, including DJ Cut D. and skvrda the music and scam artist. This is a developing story.
Gaige Wagoner charged in assault of father, pushing him to the ground
23-year-old Gaige Lee Wagoner is charged with the domestic assault of his father, Cameron Wagoner, who says the two got into a verbal argument when Gaige came home on November 26th. He says Gaige “stepped up” and got into his face, and each pushed the other. Gaige then reportedly pushed his father to the ground. He was determined to be the primary aggressor and taken into custody.
Julieann Hutchens knocks caregiver “off her feet” in assault over phone time
33-year-old Julieann Danielle Hutchens was arrested this week on an outstanding warrant charging her with assault. She is accused of “knocking her caregiver off her feet,” according to court documents. The caregiver, Chawanna Mockabee, says she disconnected the phone in the residence due to “non-authorized phone time,” resulting in Hutchens attacking her.
Clarksville rapper Sam Kirkland ($KVRDA) charged in shoe shop ‘Skvrdakicks’ fraud
20-year-old Clarksville rapper Samuel Kirkland, known to his handful of fans as ‘SKVRDA’, was jailed this week after taking money for products in his online shoe store ‘SKVRDAKICKS’ and never fulfilling the orders. Though many complaints have been filed, this particular felony theft charge stems from Corey Greer, who spent $1,480 with Kirkland for the purchase of shoes. He never received any of the shoes. Kirkland provided fake FedEx tracking numbers in an effort to cover his crime and refused to refund the money or ship the product. Kirkland was booked into custody on November 29th and posted a $5,000 bond later that same day. At press time, he was still selling shoes on his site.
Dana Gray falls asleep behind wheel of car after night of bar hopping
Clarksville Police received a report of a woman unconscious behind the wheel of a car on Tiny Town Road at the Fade Lounge. First responders located 33-year-old Dana Gray, who was now awake with the engine still running. She admitted to drinking at “multiple locations” during the night prior before, prior to driving. She stated she fell asleep while waiting for a friend and didn’t know how long she had been there. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was taken into custody.
Clarksville Police Announce Department Promotions
The Clarksville Police Department held a promotion ceremony at Freedom Point located in Liberty Park on Monday. Agent Jason Smock, Detective Brittany Hubbard, Dispatcher Samantha Jenkins, and Officers Cody Heath, Casey Headley, Kristen Ashford, Joshua Clegg, and Matthew Roederer all received promotions within the department.
DUI: Rakkasan Ryan Ian Bedell crashes into 3 parked cars after “two beers”
32-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Ryan Ian Bedell told Clarksville police he had a “couple of beers” before he crashed his red Chevrolet truck into three parked cars on Carter Road. Officers arrived and reported Bedell had red, bloodshot eyes and reeked of alcohol. When asked how drunk he was on a scale of 1-10, Bedell stated, “2”. He performed poorly on all field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI. Bedell is a member of the 187 3rd Battalion, an Iron Rakkasan.

Citizens detain car burglar James Lee Martin at Logan’s Roadhouse in Clarksville
Clarksville Police responded to Logan’s Roadhouse on November 22nd, as Colby Andrew and Jalen Lewis were holding down 31-year-old James Lee Martin, who they discovered inside of Andrew’s car, which was parked at the location. Police detained Martin, who is homeless, and claimed he believed the car was ‘for sale’ and he was trying to determine if he’d like to buy it.
