42-year-old Joseph Purvey is charged criminally with vandalism after he reportedly cut a hole in the side of a shed belonging to Anita Harris, who owned the property where he was living. Harris says Purvey didn’t have permission to cut a hole in the shed and estimated the damage at $200.

Barbara Cantu jailed after locking son out of house, assaulting him with her cane
73-year-old Barbara Cantu is free on a $500 cash bond after being booked into the Montgomery County Jail Wednesday on a domestic assault charge. Her son, 47-year-old Kevin Griffin, told police that his mother locked him out on the front porch while he was smoking, and eventually, Arthur Cantu let him back inside the home. Kevin says his mother pushed him and struck him with her cane as he came back inside. Officers observed the can on the floor, and the window blinds knocked down, consistent with his account of events.
Sharon Long charged after poking husband with her finger, smacking him — $250 bond
45-year-old Sharon Long is free on a $250 bond after police say she threw items at her husband, Jamil Long, poked him in the head with her finger, and smacked him with her hand. Jamil had no injuries and did not require medical treatment, but provided a signed written statement to responding officers stating that “she had become assaultive and placed him in fear for his safety.” There was also a short video recording of the assaults.
Lacey Barber charged in ashtray assault of former lover
Clarksville Police responded to Gettysburg Drive on July 10th, where Nicholas Chapman says he was assaulted by his ex-girlfriend, 35-year-old Lacey Barber, while he was lying in bed. He says the two were in a verbal argument when she struck him in the ear with a small round ashtray before she retreated to another bedroom in the home. Barber told officers the argument was only verbal and never turned physical, however, officers did document redness from an apparent ash tray strike and ash residue inside of the victim’s ear.
Kyjuan Schambers says he smoked marijuana before falling asleep and crashing into pole at 2 a.m.
20-year-old Kyjuan Schambers told police he smoked marijuana about a half-hour prior to falling asleep behind the wheel of his vehicle and crashing into a utility pole on Autumn Drive at 2 a.m. Friday. Officers say he fled immediately after the crash but returned to the scene a short time later. Schambers was charged with DUI and transported to booking.
Stewart Atkins charged with harassing another Clarksville man via phone
Justin Daniel Hill says 39-year-old Stewart Ryan Atkins just won’t leave him alone… and he’s had enough. Hill went before a magistrate and took out a harassment warrant on Atkins, stating he’s told Hill to stop contacting him on multiple occasions, yet he continues to call him making threats to cause bodily harm to him.
Joel Demon charged with punching out a storefront window
Clarksville Police say 34-year-old Joel Demon punched out the window at Bob’s Discount Tobacco & Beer on Providence Blvd on July 10th. After the store owner provided officers with security video of the vandalism, Demon was located about three blocks away with injuries to his head and hands.
Brayden Collins found in backseat of his crashed car wearing only his underwear; says “I’m f*-ked up”
Deputies found 18-year-old Brayden Collins in the backseat of his crashed vehicle on Rollow Lane, wearing only his underwear. Though it wasn’t clear what he was doing, why he was there, or how he crashed, it was obvious he was heavily intoxicated as he exclaimed to one witness “I’m f*-ked up!”
Violent Sex Offender charged with stalking woman at Clarksville Circle K — James Henry Brown
41-year-old James Brown, who is a registered sex offender for a prior aggravated rape and kidnapping conviction, is now jailed in lieu of a $25,000 bond after police say he stalked a woman at a Clarksville Circle K convenience store on three separate occasions in recent days, once even blocking in her vehicle until she agreed to provide her phone number.
Mia Evans charged with DUI after being stopped for 88 mph in a 55 mph zone
24-year-old Mia Evans was clocked at 88 mph in a 55 mph zone on July 2nd. When pulled over for the infraction, it was quickly observed she was under the influence as determined by the smell of alcohol coming from her and her behaviors. Evans admitted she had just left a party in Dover where she had been drinking. She was issued a warning for the speeding and taken into custody for the DUI.
Raveion Johnson indicted by Grand Jury after brandishing handgun
28-year-old Raveion Shalayla Johnson was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on July 5th after the Grand Jury indicted her on a felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge. The indictment alleges that in August of 2020, Johnson brandished a handgun causing Kurt Jackson to fear imminent bodily injury. She is free on a $10,000 bond.
Quest Jackson charged after slamming girlfriend’s arm in door during argument
Olivia Kraft-Stalling says she was in an argument with her boyfriend, 31-year-old Quest Jackson, and after it was over he decided to leave the residence to de-escalate. However, a struggle over keys quickly turned into a childish game of “lock you out of the house” and he slammed her arm in a door, resulting in a charge of domestic assault.
Alicia Dubach accused of knocking aunt to the ground, stomping on her face in a rage attack
Clarksville Police responded to an aggravated assault call on July 3rd and met with Yulanda Rowe, who stated she was waking on Cumberland Drive when her niece, 31-year-old Alicia Dubach, punched her in the face and knocked her to the ground, and then stomped on her face repeatedly.
Deceased child call results in mother jailed on $10K bond — Cheyenne Maddox arrested
32-year-old Cheyenne Maddox is jailed in lieu of a $10,000 bond, charged with five counts of child abuse and neglect after Clarksville Police responded to a deceased child call at her Virginia Terrace home on July 6th and found the home in such disarray that it was unsafe for human habitation, including tipped over dressers and trash and other debris covering the floor to where it could not be seen or safely walked on.
Fort Campell soldier Bradley Cheek charged in assault of wife; smashes her phone
Natalie Cheek says her husband, 20-year-old Fort Campbell soldier Bradley Cheek, asked her for her phone, and when she refused he retrieved it from her waistband by force while she ‘flailed’ her arms and hit him in self-defense. As she ran outside and got into her car, Bradley jumped into the passenger seat, and as she reversed he smashed the phone onto the ground and exited the vehicle. Bradley, who had marks on his body from her ‘flailing’ when he took her phone, spoke to the police and provided a very similar story. He was determined to be the primary aggressor and was taken into custody.
Brittney Frick jailed after slapping husband during argument
Clarksville Police responded to The Preserve at Spring Creek on July 3rd, where Victor Frick reported his wife, 27-year-old Brittney Frick, slapped him during an argument. Officer Shawn Brown took Brittney into custody, charging her with domestic assault. No injury was observed as a result of the impact.
VIDEO: Suzanne Deslauriers Crump slices shoes & threatens husband with giant knife
56-year-old Suzanne Deslauriers Crump remains jailed in lieu of a $12,000 bond after her third domestic-violence related arrest in the past thirty days. In the most recent incident, she is accused of (and captured on video) grabbing a large kitchen knife during a party and coming at her husband, Rishawn Crump, while threatening him and placing him in immediate fear of being injured, causing him to call 911. At the time of this assault, she was out on bond for two other incidents and was not allowed to be at the residence or near Crump, per her bond conditions.
Soldier Timothy Lee locks wife in vehicle: “I’m not going to let you leave me!”
Shelby Lee says her husband, 28-year-old Soldier Timothy Lee, held her against her will inside their vehicle in the parking lot of Golly G’s on Madison Street in Clarksville. She says Timothy was given a pass from Fort Campbell for Father’s Day weekend, and the couple and their four children all celebrated by going to Golly G’s.
While in the parking lot she says he locked the door of the vehicle and refused to unlock or open the doors when asked. With her locked inside, he reportedly stated “I’m not going to let you leave me” and she was eventually able to escape the vehicle as it was in motion as he began to drive off.
Soldier Alexander Fair jailed after THP Trooper clocks him speeding 41 mph over limit
29-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Alexander Fair was unknowingly traveling in front of a THP Trooper’s vehicle when he accelerated to 76 mph in a 45 mph zone, and then accelerated to 86 mph a short time later. THP Trooper Cadena initiated a traffic stop in front of Gate 1 and placed Fair under arrest for reckless driving. He arranged for a friend to pick up the Mustang and he was transported to booking.
Christopher Scales robs a woman he met on ‘Tagged’ dating app at Dover Crossing Sonic
A woman matched with a man who went by the name “Junior” on the dating app ‘Tagged’ and the two decided to meet at the Dover Crossing Sonic. As she arrived, ‘Junior’, who was later identified as 25-year-old Christopher Scales, asked her to get out of the car and give him a hug. As she did he opened her back door, grabbed a clear purse and white backpack, and fled on foot down the path behind the Sonic. Inside the purse and backpack was a laptop, a military ID, $800 in cash, two food stamp cards, a CashApp card, and a Venmo card. She gave chase after him until he turned and pulled a gun and racked the slide, at which point she retreated. He was positively identified in a photo lineup and taken into custody the following day.
