20-year-old Fort Campbell soldier Gupton Vogt was racing another vehicle on Fort Campbell Blvd as they passed by a THP Trooper traveling the opposite direction. The cars were initially clocked at 90 mph in a 45 mph zone, and slowed to 77 mph as the rear radar picked up his vehicle. A traffic stop was made at Senator Drive and Vogt was taken into custody for reckless driving.

Soldier Dakota Damron faces felony after accidentally firing rifle inside his apartment
Clarksville Police responded to a shots-fired call on Tandy Drive on May 30th, in which a bullet traveled through two occupied apartments and lodged in the wall of the second apartment. Officers located 24-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Dakota Damron who lives in a connecting apartment. Damron stated he “accidentally fired a round”, explaining he was “cleaning his rifle and afterward loaded a magazine not thinking it was loaded causing him to accidentally fire the rifle,” according to a statement given to police.
SMIC Director Nuno Resende charged in assault of two women in Clarksville
42-year-old Clarksville business owner Nuno Resende (Nuno Ricardo Pereira Resende) is charged with the domestic assault of his mother-in-law, Maria White. Police say he was intoxicated and arguing when he began to throw things in the kitchen of his home. During the tantrum he demanded to hold his baby, so his wife and mother-in-law took the child and retreated to the master bedroom, locking the door behind them. They say Nuno kicked open the door and pushed his mother-in-law, Maria White, onto the bed during the assault.
When police responded to take him into custody it was discovered he also had an outstanding warrant for assault on another woman, Jenny Neves, from 2019. That warrant alleges he pushed her down onto the ground twice, causing injury to her, while at the SMIC, Inc. office address.
Timothy Hodge indicted on child sex charges by Grand Jury
56-year-old Timothy Hodge has been indicted by the Montgomery County Grand Jury on multiple counts of aggravated sexual battery of a victim under the age of 13 and attempted rape of a child. Shortly after being booked on the charge, he was released on a $50,000 bond via Edmonson Bonding.
Former APSU Coach Douglas Molnar misappropriated over $30K — agrees to 4 years probation deal & repayment
The Tennessee Comptroller’s Office has released an investigation involving Douglas Molnar, who served as Austin Peay State University’s (APSU) Head Track and Field and Cross Country coach from September 2004 until June 2019.
Investigators determined that Molnar misappropriated APSU funds totaling at least $30,600.45.
The vast majority of the misappropriated money was collected and turned over to Molnar during track and cross country fundraiser events hosted between 2015 and 2018. These fundraisers included several athletic events in which participants were charged entry fees. At least $29,775 that was collected during these events should have been deposited into a APSU bank account; however, investigators discovered that Molnar retained this money for his personal benefit.
Speedracer Bryant Medley booked yet again on driving-related charges in Clarksville
42-year-old Bryant Medley was booked into the Montgomery County Jail after he failed to appear for yet another traffic-related citation. In his 39th case in the county, Medley was originally cited for driving without a license and having an expired tag. Other recent charges include DUI, possession of a handgun while under the influence, speeding, texting while driving, no proof of insurance, and driving on a suspended license.
Billy Waynick charged after slapping his fiancee… stating “this is only the beginning”
44-year-old Billy Waynick is charged with the domestic assault of his fiancee, Michelle, after she says he was high and accused her of cheating. She says he followed her around the house, demanding to see her phone, then slapped her across the face, stating “this is only the beginning.”
Trinity McNeal charged in assault of sister during dispute
21-year-old Trinity McNeal is charged with the domestic assault of her sister. The victim alleges that a verbal argument started between the pair when Trinity shoved her against a bedroom wall of their Heritage Pointe Drive home. She then pushed Trinity back away, causing Trinity to reportedly punch the victim in the face repeatedly. Trinity told police during an interview that she did assault the victim and pushed her first. Officers documented a laceration above the right eye of the victim and a bruise below her left eye.
Brittany Martin charged after failing to report “sexual abuse incident” between her 12 & 10 year-old children
Clarksville Police say 37-year-old Brittany Jacqueline Martin personally witnessed a “sexual abuse incident” that occurred in her home between her 12-year-old son and her 10-year-old daughter on May 21st and did not report this incident to authorities. The following day, the 12-year-old boy also ran away, which she also didn’t report. When officers came to take her into custody for the two child abuse and neglect warrants, she also resisted arrest.
Jennifer Lemasters says she was robbed at Walmart; CPD says that was a lie
35-year-old Jennifer Lemasters told police that while she was at the Walmart on Wilma Rudolph Blvd in Clarksville that a man wearing a blue hoodie put a knife to her throat and took her purse and cellphone by force. She contacted Clarksville Police and reported the robbery. Officers were able to obtain video footage of Mrs. Lemasters from the time she arrived until the time she met with CPD Officers, and at no time did anyone come near or around her, much less threaten or rob her of anything. She is now charged with filing a false report, which is a felony.
Jeston James Quintana charged with assault of brother over cleaning the house
Officers were conducting a welfare check on Old Ashland City Road when they observed two men, Patrick and Jeston Quintana, exit the residence in question with one swinging at the other while chasing him. An officer commanded them both to the ground and called for backup.
Tanesha Holden charged with putting roommate in a chokehold over electric bill
25-year-old Tanesha Holden is charged with the domestic assault of her roommate, Jaquala Cross. Police say the two were in an argument about the electric bill at their shared apartment and Cross came downstairs to discuss the issue. Once downstairs, she says Holden reached out and placed her in a single-hand chokehold, leaving a small abrasion on the right side of her neck from her fingernails.
Davon Kelley tries to break down what he believed to be his friend’s door — it wasn’t #oops
Clarksville Police say 23-year-old Davon Kelley attempted to break down a door to enter his friend’s apartment at the Ramblewood Apartments. He caused several dents above the handle of the door in an attempt to get inside. It turns out, that wasn’t his friend’s apartment — and Mr. Kelley was simply intoxicated. He admitted to drinking at a friend’s house prior to coming to this location. He is charged with public intoxication and vandalism for the door, which is estimated at $350 to repair.
Kirk Galbreath charged in domestic assault of pregnant girlfriend at convenience store
Clarksville Police responded to a domestic call at the Minit Mart on Peachers Mill Road on May 24th, and upon arrival observed 20-year-old Kirk Galbreath yelling at Madison Llewellyn, his girlfriend who is eight months pregnant. The argument was reportedly over a text message conversation she had with another male. Witnesses report he grabbed her by the arms and pushed her backward toward the vehicle repeatedly and eventually put her inside the vehicle before retrieving a handgun from the back of the vehicle and holding it by his groin. Officers did locate a .38 revolver in the vehicle, and Galbreath’s mother told police that he did place it in the vehicle and it was his gun.
Fort Campbell Soldier Kayla Darroux charged with assaulting ex-husband, stabbing his tire
Clarksville Police say 23-year-old Kayla Darroux of the 426th Brigade Support Battalion “Taskmasters” at Fort Campbell assaulted her ex-husband and stabbed one of his tires with a knife, causing it to go flat. The incident happened on May 23rd when police responded to a Northridge Drive apartment where the victim, Blake, explained she had grabbed his shirt to prevent him from walking away during an argument, leaving him with scratch marks on his neck. She then reportedly went outside and stabbed his tire with a knife on the passenger side of his vehicle. She has a prior history of domestic incidents, according to police. A commissioner set her bond at $250.
Marquel Scott admits to lying to police about being robbed at gunpoint — he made it all up
24-year-old Marquel Scott is free on a $5,000 bond, and now faces the felony charge of filing a false report. Clarksville Police initially responded to an armed robbery call in the parking of a Mapco on Ft. Campbell Blvd. on May 16th, where Scott reported two men approached him while displaying handguns and took a backpack containing a Taurus pistol.
During the course of the investigation, it was determined those events never occurred. During an interview, Marquel Scott admitted to making up the story and that no robbery occurred. He states the fabricated the story to “protect a friend” according to court documents.
Brandon Voorhees charged after pinning girlfriend to wall by her shoulders during argument
20-year-old Brandon Voorhees is charged with the domestic assault of his girlfriend, Lezleigh Evitts. Police responded to the Ramblewood Drive location, where the victim was loading up her belongings to move them from her apartment. She says Voorhees escalated an argument until it turned physical and he grabbed her by the shoulders and pinned her against the wall. He admitted to the assault and was taken into custody for domestic violence.
Nicolas Hunter confesses to armed robbery, consents to search & gives up stolen gun
22-year-old Nicolas Deondre ‘Lil Nugget’ Hunter was booked into the Montgomery County Jail this week to answer for his charges here, after spending time in other jurisdictions on unrelated charges. He was served with a felony warrant charging him with felony aggravated robbery for a July 2021 incident in which he stole a handgun from a victim at the Overlook Apartments, who was showing it to him for a possible sale.
When the victim asked Hunter to return the gun, Lil Nugget pulled back the slide on a different black gun and told the victim: “stay back or I’ll pop you!” while pointing the gun in his direction. During an interview with detectives, Hunter confessed to the robbery and gave consent to search his home, detailing where the stolen gun – valued at $170 – would be found. He is jailed on a $50K bond.
Matthew Ortiz booked on 2018 marijuana traffic stop warrant in Clarksville
29-year-old Matthew Ortiz, who has religiously shared almost every social media post from Scoop: Nashville & Clarksville Today for years, is free on a $40,000 bond after being booked on an outstanding warrant from 2018, charging him with felony drug possession of marijuana.
Rachel Griggs charged in assault of her neighbor, Debbie Dabs
35-year-old Rachel Griggs is charged with the assault of her neighbor, Debbie Dabbs. Ms. Dabbs says she was sitting on her neighbor’s front porch on May 18th when Griggs came out of her front door carrying a pipe or bat and began yelling and screaming and cursing at the victim while threatening to cause bodily harm to her.
