Lauren Degiosafatoo charged in assault of boyfriend after finding a text from his ex

Deputies responded to Chatfield Drive in the early hours of Thursday morning, where David Fekete advised his girlfriend, 30-year-old Lauren Degiosafatto, assaulted him after observing a text from an ex-girlfriend on his phone. He says she became upset and angry, then began to break things in the room before assaulting him and hitting him on the back. Ryan Dvorak says he heard the argument and then observed her attacking Fekete, so he picked her up and moved her in order to de-escalate the situation and separate the couple.

Four charged after suspicious U-Haul activity call finds Fentanyl, Cocaine, Heroin, meth pipes, and snort straws, oh my!

Clarksville police responded to a suspicious activity call on August 9th near the Waffle House parking lot in downtown Clarksville. Officers arrived to find several people, a car, and a U-Haul truck. 33-year-old Robert Griffith, along with 36-year-old Heather Ramey, were both placing bags into a Hyundai sedan with plates that belonged to a Texas truck. The driver of the Hyundai, 36-year-old Bobbi Nicholson, and her passenger, 31-year-old Megan Garcia, were unable to explain the improper registration. In plain view, officers say they found cocaine in a small bag inside the car. An in-depth search revealed Fentanyl, heroin, a meth pipe, marijuana, and four snort straws.

Auston White rented tools from Lowe’s and never returned them, store says

An arrest warrant states that 23-year-old Christopher Auston Lee White entered Lowe’s on Madison Street in April and rented a Husqvarna power pole pruner and a ‘Little Giant’ 16-foot ladder for a single day. When he did not return the items, the store emailed him, called him, and sent a certified letter. Despite all efforts to reach him, he never replied or returned the items, which had a retail value of $886.33. On July 12th, the store took out the warrant, and he was booked into custody on August 10th.

Jonisha Williams charged in death of dog tethered outside with no shelter, food, or water

In late July, Montgomery County Animal Care and Control visited the home of 32-year-old Jonisha Janella Williams to find her dog on an extremely short tether outside without shelter or water. She was issued a citation which she refused to sign. On August 9th, Clarksville Police responded to the home at the request of Animal Care and Control, who was already on the scene after a neighbor called about the dog now appearing to be deceased. After confirming no improvement had been made to the animal’s care, and it was now deceased, Officers took Williams into custody and charged her with aggravated animal cruelty. She immediately posted a $10,000 bond via 2nd Chance Bail Bonding and was released from custody.

Kristofer Batson charged after assaulting ex-boyfriend with kitchen pot, threatening his life

Officers responded to a home on Martin Street on Monday evening where Michael Leftwich told police that his roommate/ex-boyfriend 35-year-old Kristofer Tosh Batson had been threatening him when he arrived home. He stated Batson was following him around the house, asking for his car keys, and then asking to be taken to the hospital. Leftwich Batson threatened to kill him and then hit him with a kitchen pot before taking the keys and fleeing in Leftwich’s car. Officers issued a warrant for his arrest, and he was taken into custody Wednesday.

Lillie Trumpower jailed on $20K bond after shoplifting $3K from Dick’s Sporting Goods

Clarksville Police say 21-year-old Lillie Irene Trumpower ran out of Dick’s Sporting Goods just before 8 p.m. on Tuesday with nearly $3,000 in merchandise. An employee alerted police, who gave chase to Trumpower as she fled out the door and into the parking lot of the Governor’s Square mall. Once she was detained, she refused to be cuffed, and a second unit arrived to assist. She is jailed in lieu of a $20,000 bond.

Jeff Johnson charged with DUI while out on bond for a March DUI

Just after 1 a.m. Monday, Officer Justin Bolden stopped a black Impala for failing to maintain a consistent lane of travel. The driver, 26-year-old Jeffrey Douglas Johnson, had slurred speech and reeked of alcohol. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and would later blow a 0.245% BAC on a breathalyzer. At the time of his arrest on this DUI charge, Johnson was out on bond for a March DUI charge.

Cheyenne Maddox jailed on new Indictments related to child’s death

Earlier today, detectives with the Clarksville Police Departments Special Operations Unit arrested 32-year-old Cheyenne Dawn Maddox for Aggravated Child Abuse/ Neglect/ Endangerment of a child in relation to the death of 13-year-old Kadaris Maddox.

On July 6, 2022, at approximately 1:10 pm, Clarksville Police Department officers responded to a residence on Virginia Terrace where Kadaris Maddox was pronounced deceased following the arrival of first responders. Based on the investigation, the lead investigator, Detective Bryan Hughes, presented evidence to the August session of the Montgomery County Grand Jury, and an indictment was issued for Cheyenne Maddox. She was taken into custody today and booked into the Montgomery County Jail on a $75,000 bond.

Fort Campbell Soldier Ryan Cook says he had ‘3 shots’ prior to 4 a.m. DUI arrest

Just after 4 a.m. Sunday, THP Trooper Michael Hickmon was traveling on Fort Campbell Blvd when he observed 24-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Ryan Tyler Cook driving a vehicle at 65 mph in a 45 mph zone while crossing over his lane of travel. During the subsequent traffic stop, Cook admitted to drinking “three shots” prior to driving and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. He later blew a 0.173% BAC on a breathalyzer.

Danaelius Gunn charged after strangling girlfriend, bleaching clothes, smashing windshield

Clarksville Police say as they responded to a domestic call on Dave Drive they observed the victim, Amenna Davis, at the end of the driveway bleeding, and 21-year-old Danaelius Illijah Gunn was walking outside and pouring bleach on a pile of the victim’s clothes which were on the ground by the front door. Gunn retreated to the house and locked the door, and would not speak to officers.

His girlfriend (the victim) stated they were in bed prior to the call when he suddenly told her to get out and threatened to kill her in her sleep. When she actually began packing her things, he became more upset and strangled her until she lost consciousness. When she came to, he beat her with a shoe and punched her as she was screaming for help. He then busted her windshield with a glass jar.

32-year-old Mitsuko Larell Martindale was charged with the felony of making a false report to an officer after the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office attempted to serve a warrant on her husband, and she told them he wasn’t home. Officers were attempting to serve a domestic violence warrant on John Martindale on Evans Road, and his vehicle was in the driveway. When his wife, Mitsuko, answered the door she insisted he was not there but stated she would call him to let him know they came by. After 25 minutes of back-and-forth, deputies entered the home and found him hiding in the bathroom.

23-year-old Kennedy Dominique Allen Owens was charged with DUI at the intersection of University Ave & Franklin Street in the early morning hours of July 31st. Witnesses say she attempted to flee before officers arrived; however, her vehicle was completely disabled. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI. Once at booking, while Officer Reid was swearing out her warrant at the magistrate window, Deputy Jeramy Bowen ordered her to sit down on the bench, and she refused while getting agitated and verbally aggressive. Drunken Fort Campbell Soldier Ruth Valdez assaults police officer, slips cuffs

21-year-old Ruth Valdez was drinking with her friends all night at an apartment on Tiny Town Road when she decided she was going to drive home at 6:15 a.m. Sunday. Her friends called 911 when she attempted to leave in her vehicle while still extremely intoxicated. Officer arrived. As officers arrived and detained her, she hit Officer Malone and then began kicking the windows and partitions inside the patrol car. Due to her level of intoxication, she was transported to Sango ER where she managed to slip one of her handcuffs. There was a struggle in the hospital while attempting to get her hands cuffed behind her back for transport to jail, as she actively resisted all efforts.

Patrick Landers (DJ 730) found puking in front yard after rear-ending cop car in Clarksville

27-year-old Patrick Louwayne Landers, better known in the city as DJ 730XX, rear-ended a police officer on Fort Campbell Blvd just before 4 a.m. on July 22nd and fled the scene driving a red Toyota Camry. A short distance away, as that BOLO was coming across the radio, another officer noticed the Camry with the KY tag and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. Landers drove for a short distance as if looking for a place to stop, then suddenly fled at a high rate of speed.

Oak Grove Officers went to the registered address for the tag, and as they arrived, Patrick Landers was throwing up in the front yard. Officers were able to wake up the registered owner, who is Landers’ girlfriend, Checara Bailey, who stated Landers had just arrived home in the vehicle moments before. The vehicle was still warm to the touch.

On July 23rd at 3:03 a.m., the Waffle House at 1683 Fort Campbell Blvd was temporarily shut down by officials for being a fire hazard. 26-year-old Sydney Morris refused to leave the restaurant and insisted on arguing with police orders and their authority. As she was placed into custody for disorderly conduct, she refused to walk, forcing officers to drag her to the patrol vehicle.
