Cleveland Neal caught with 14 grams of marijuana & stolen handgun after speeding in Kia Soul

20-year-old Cleveland Neal was seen speeding in a 2012 Kia Soul on April 25th. Officers made contact and noticed a strong odor of marijuana as they approached Neal. Officers searched his vehicle and located marijuana, a digital scale, multiple torn bags with marijuana, blunts, and a handgun. The marijuana found weighed more than 14 grams. During the investigation, officers found that Neal’s handgun was reported stolen out of county. After officers advised Neal of his Miranda Rights, Neal stated that he was a drug user and that the firearm did not belong to him. This statement, however, contradicts the fingerprints and DNA that law enforcement found on the gun belonging to Neal. Cleveland Neal was taken into custody and charged with possession of a firearm during a felony, theft, marijuana possession, drug paraphernalia, no license, and speeding on April 26th.
