Clarksville Police pulled over 21-year-old Jada Turner just at 3 a.m. as she was swerving into oncoming traffic. It was soon discovered she did not have a driver’s license, and the officer could smell alcohol coming from the car. There was an open bottle of alcohol inside the vehicle, along with a white powder inside a folded dollar bill, along with a snort straw. Turner says the powder was crushed up Lortabs.

Jenell Fuller charged with DUI after nearly striking patrol car head-on in traffic
Officers say 25-year-old Jenell Fuller was driving on Providence Blvd on May 23rd when she crossed the center media and nearly struck a patrol vehicle head-on, which was traveling on the opposite side of the roadway. A traffic stop was immediately conducted, during which she admitted to drinking alcohol prior to driving. Fuller performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was taken into custody.
James Potter charged with underage DWI after rolling his friend’s car #Prom
18-year-old James Potter was charged with underage driving while impaired Saturday night after he was driving his friend’s car, and it rolled over and crashed into a guardrail while he was picking his friend, Austin Beck, up from prom. Potter told police he lost control due to a “mechanical problem,” however Officer Nolan with CPD says Potter reeked of alcohol. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was taken into custody. After a stop for a blood draw at Tennova, he was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
DUI: Latoya McCollough charged after drinking “one shot” at N’Quire Bar & Lounge
41-year-old Latoya Shunta McCollough says she had “one shot” of liquor at N’Quire Bar & Lounge before driving home early Friday morning. As an officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop for her swerving at 3:30 a.m., she swerved through three more lanes of traffic and ran up on a curb twice before coming to an eventual stop after turning onto another road.
She then opened her door and poured the alcohol out of a metal container, onto the ground, with the officer parked behind her watching. He could also clearly see the handgun in the door pocket of her Ford Fusion as he approached. After a blood draw at Tennova, she was booked into jail.
Eric Sotnick used cocaine before Trenton Rd Crash, had more stashed in his rectum — retrieved at ER
44-year-old Eric Sotnick faces a multitude of charges after police responded to a crash with injuries on Trenton Road on May 3rd where he was the driver. The crash left both him and his passenger, Kim Sotnick, unresponsive, and he fell out of the driver’s seat when medics opened the door. He admitted to using what he believed to be cocaine, however, he was revived with NARCAN, leading authorities to believe it was likely laced with Fentanyl. Once at the hospital, he allowed a nurse from the ER to retrieve a bag of white powder which tested positive for a cocaine base from his rectum.
Jaszmine Younger charged with DUI after Tiny Town Road crash
Clarksville Police responded to a crash at Tiny Town Road & Clearwater Drive to find 28-year-old Jaszmine Younger as the driver of the wrecked vehicle. She appeared intoxicated, according to Clarksville Police Officer Joshua Godwin, and later admitted to drinking prior to driving. She declined field sobriety tests and was transported to booking.
Jonathan Love, of 5th Special Forces Group, charged with DUI; admits to drinking vodka before driving
32-year-old Jonathan Love, of the 5th Special Forces Group, 3rd Battalion, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail just before 1 a.m. Wednesday after CPD Officer David Hauser noticed Love’s Jetta swerving between lanes on Fort Campbell Blvd. During a traffic stop, Love was found to have lethargic speech, glossy watery eyes, and the smell of alcohol coming from his breath. He admitted to drinking “4-5 shots of vodka” prior to driving. After performing poorly on field sobriety tests he was transported to booking.
DUI: Soldier Alex Fisher says he drank “one beer” at the Electric Cowboy before crash that ejected passenger
21-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Alexander Matthew Fisher tells police he had “one beer” at the Electric Cowboy before rolling his vehicle on Whitfield Road, resulting in one of the passengers being ejected. When police arrived and interviewed Fisher, he stated, “I remember driving and taking a left turn at a curb and then waking up”. When asked if he had been drinking, Fisher responded: “one beer at the Electric Cowboy.” Officers say he performed poorly on field sobriety tests and reeked of alcohol.
Drunk Fort Campbell Soldier Marquan Tabron found asleep behind wheel of vehicle on roadway
23-year-old Fort Campbell soldier Marquan Tabron was found asleep behind the wheel of his Ford F-150 just after 1 a.m. near Tiny Town Road and Green Acres Drive. As the officer approached he was able to remove the keys from the running vehicle before waking up the sleeping soldier. Inside the truck was an open Bud light in the center console area. Tabron admitted to drinking prior to driving and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. He blew a 0.106% BAC on a breathalyzer.
DUI: Flutist Tamara Deichert blows 0.115% BAC on breathalyzer after reckless driving report
Clarksville Police responded to a reckless driving call on and found 29-year-old Clarksville flutist Tamara Deichert behind the wheel of a silver Subaru SUV crossing over the lanes of travel. A traffic stop was conducted, during which Deichert agreed to perform field sobriety tests, on which she performed poorly. She would later blow a 0.115% BAC on a breathalyzer.
Richard Lamb charged in DUI crash at Electric Cowboy in Clarksville
34-year-old Richard Lamb crashed his vehicle at the Electric Cowboy and was reported to be intoxicated. Officers arrived at the wrecked Lexus and found Lamb to have slurred speech, watery eyes, and obviously intoxicated. He admitted to drinking prior to driving.
DUI: Arik Browning says he’s “too f*-ked up to drive”
Police say 34-year-old Arik Browning was driving on Providence Blvd but was swerving so badly that at one point he approached the sidewalk. He reportedly smelled of alcohol, and performed poorly on field sobriety tests, including the lack of smooth pursuit in both eyes. He told officers he was “too f*-ked up to drive” citing a 2011 TBI. An open can of Blue Moon Belgian White Ale was located in the vehicle, and he eventually blew a 0.148% BAC on a breathalyzer.
Cederrick Hill held on $27,500 bond after 3rd DUI in recent months
32-year-old Cederrick Hill is jailed on a $27,500 bond after he crashed his Dodge Caliber in front of the Speedway on Tiny Town Road just after 6 p.m. Wednesday. He admitted to drinking prior to driving and was extremely intoxicated according to officers. At the time of his arrest, he was out on bond for a pending DUI from November of 2021, and he was convicted of another DUI in May of 2021. His license has also been revoked since the first DUI conviction.

28-year-old Tiffany Gaines was stopped near Tiny Town Road and Peachers Mill Road just after 3 a.m. on April 3rd after several traffic infractions and weaving and changing lanes erratically. Officers say she smelled of alcohol and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Her SUV was also unregistered and the license plate was not on file. She blew a 0.160% BAC on a breathalyzer.
DUI: Ryan Anderson charged after taking out two brick mailboxes in neighborhood
Deputy Christopher Drechsler was notified that a vehicle had struck two brick mailboxes and was attempting to flee the neighborhood. He observed the vehicle in question and conducted a traffic stop. The driver, 35-year-old Ryan Mart Anderson, reeked of alcohol and would later perform poorly on field sobriety tests. An inventory search of the vehicle revealed a 9 mm handgun.
Tregan Woody charged with DUI after release from hospital following crash
23-year-old Tregan Woody was jailed this week on a March 7th DUI charge for which he was hospitalized immediately after the incident. Police say they observed Woody seemingly intoxicated with pinpoint pupils, unresponsive, and falling asleep after a crash with injuries at Kraft & College St, and medics transported him to Tennova for treatment. While at the hospital, he stated he does not do drugs, then admitted only to smoking marijuana prior to the crash. Police charged him with driving under the influence and noted a history of overdose and Fentanyl possession.
Firefighter Raul ‘Rico’ Contreras charged with DUI in Clarksville after reckless driving report
Officers found 31-year-old Raul ‘Rico’ Contreras Jr. in the parking lot of a Trenton Road Exxon after citizens reported his reckless driving just after 11 p.m. Saturday. He reeked of alcohol and agreed to perform field sobriety tests, which he performed poorly on. He would then blow a 0.148% BAC on a breathalyzer, nearly double the legal limit.
Luke Chowning charged with DUI after drinking White Claws & nearly hitting an officer
29-year-old Luke Chowning, who works at the Rascon School of Combat Medicine at Fort Campbell, nearly collided with a Clarksville Police officer in his vehicle on March 23rd just after 4 p.m. When a traffic stop was conducted, he stated he consumed “a lot” of alcohol and admitted he was drunk. A search of the vehicle revealed an almost empty White Claw can. Chowning was mostly unable to stand on his own and fell multiple times as he walked into the hospital for a blood draw. #WhiteClawWasted
DUI: Special Forces soldier Christopher Malone jailed, can’t make bond after crash
22-year-old Fort Campbell 5th Special Forces Group 2nd Battalion Soldier Christopher Ryan Malone was driving on the wrong side of Dunlop Lane Tuesday evening when he crashed into a ditch, according to officials and a witness. Malone initially told the deputy he crashed because “I have bald tires and fell asleep”. During that conversation, the deputy noticed he smelled of alcohol, which he later admitted to drinking. Several open beer cans were found in cup holders and strewn throughout the vehicle. A handgun was also located in his possession.
DUI: Kayla Keen charged after driving off the road into a field with open cans of alcohol in her car
24-year-old Michaela “Kayla” Keen was jailed and charged with DUI this week after a Sheriff’s Deputy found her standing outside her car that had gone off the roadway and into a field on Dotsonville Road. Keen admitted to drinking, and officers located two open cans of alcohol in the vehicle. She is free on a $3,000 bond.
