48-year-old Kevin Sweeney was involved in a domestic dispute with his wife, Shakira Sweeney, at their Heritage Drive residence on April 9th. Officers arrived and made contact with Shakira. Shakira stated that she had an argument with Kevin that turned physical. During the argument, Kevin struck Shakira, causing her to fall to the ground. When she attempted to get up, he continued to hit her in the head and the side of her body. Kevin Sweeney was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault on April 29th.
