43-year-old Randall Rau was involved in a domestic altercation with his ex-wife, Amber Rau, at a Ladd Drive residence on March 29th. Amber stated that when she and her current boyfriend, Jacob Dwyer, returned home to the residence, Randall showed up and started yelling at her. He then verbally argued with Dwyer before he grabbed a baseball bat and began swinging it at him.
Randall then dropped the bat and started swinging fists at Dwyer but could not hit him. Amber believed Randall was intoxicated, prompting her to call officers out of fear for her safety. He tried to go into the house but was stopped by Ambers’s daughter, who told him he needed to leave and get over her mother. Randall then left and returned to his Circle Road residence. A report was made, and he was taken into custody for domestic assault on May 11th.
