Rosalynn Laubach punches ex-boyfriend & his car radio during argument on Madison Street

22-year-old Rosalynn Laubach was involved in a domestic altercation with her ex-boyfriend, Chrishawn Rose, at Bojangles on Madison Street on August 6th. Officers were called for service at a possible domestic assault in progress. Rose, while on the phone with 911 operators, stated that Laubach had attacked him and tore up his vehicle. Rose added that Laubach was still inside the car, destroying numerous items. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Laubach, who was inside the vehicle. Laubach informed officers that she and Rose had gotten into an argument but advised officers that it was only verbal. However, she admitted she did hit his side mirror, but stated it did not cause any damage.

Officers then spoke with Rose, who was at the Circle K gas station nearby. Rose explained that while he and Laubach were arguing in his vehicle regarding relationship issues, she pulled the steering wheel and punched him in the face. Rose claimed that after this, he pulled off to Circle K and removed her items from his vehicle. Rose says that once Laubach was outside the car, he drove next door to Bojangles to call the police. Rose alleged that while he was on the phone with dispatch, Laubach had walked over to the vehicle and re-entered it. This is when Rose says he exited the car to remove himself from the situation. Rose stated Laubach proceeded to punch his radio screen inside the vehicle. The screen was rendered inoperable, and its estimated value is $80. Laubach was deemed the primary aggressor and taken into custody for domestic assault and vandalism.
