40-year-old Shamika Fields was involved in an altercation with her daughter, Siniah Fields, at their Foxmoor Drive residence on April 23rd. Siniah contacted law enforcement, stating that her mother, Shamika, got angry and tried to hit her with a belt. Siniah then told officers that when she left the house, Shamika hit her in the face and the body with her hands. When officers spoke with Shamika, she admitted to hitting Siniah with a belt. She also admitted to fighting Siniah when they left the house. During the investigation of the incident, officers found that Shamika had a history of domestic violence prior to this altercation. Shamika Fields was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.
