DUI: Steven McIntosh drives Cadillac down Warfield Boulevard in the wrong lane

47-year-old Steven McIntosh was seen traveling in the wrong lane on Warfield Boulevard in a red Cadillac sedan on August 29th. Officers made contact with McIntosh at the Circle K parking lot on Warfield Boulevard. Officers noticed a strong odor of alcohol and other signs of intoxication. While speaking with McIntosh, officers reported that they observed several open alcohol containers on his passenger seat. McIntosh eventually admitted that he had consumed alcohol earlier in the day.

However, he never gave officers a clear time frame. McIntosh later consented to perform sobriety tests, but he showed multiple signs of impairment, so he was taken into custody. While in custody, McIntosh was read implied consent and refused to provide blood for testing. Following this, a search warrant was obtained for McIntosh’s blood, so he was transported to a hospital. While McIntosh was getting his blood taken, it was found that he had no valid driver’s license on file. McIntosh was later transported to booking and charged with driving under the influence, open container, driving with no license, and an implied consent violation.
