44-year-old Tiffany Nicole McKnight had a domestic altercation with her husband, James Brown, at their Bradfield Drive residence on May 6th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Brown, who stated that after signing the divorce papers, he went upstairs, opened McKnightâs door, and told her she had to leave. McKnight picked up a karaoke machine and swung it at Brown, causing him to push her out of the way to leave the bedroom.
McKnight told officers that Brown was trying to remove her belongings and that she was protecting them by placing her hands over them. Brown said she backed up, picked up the karaoke machine, and threw it at him but missed. McKnight also stated that Brown hit her before leaving the room. Officers deemed McKnight as the primary aggressor. McKnight was taken into custody for domestic assault.
