Man fires 6 rounds into girlfriend’s windshield — Christopher Kody Clark $85K bond

19-year-old Christopher Kody Clark faces a variety of charges after police say he shot up his girlfriend’s vehicle which he had taken without permission after she called him multiple times to return it on January 10, and when he did the two got into an argument.

Chelsie Roake says she was standing near the vehicle when he fired from the front porch, placing her in fear for her life.

Mother faked autistic child’s death to leave him alone in a Clarksville motel — Vanessa Blanchard

In October of 2021, New Providence Middle School SRO Dwayne James contacted Vanessa Blanchard to inquire why her 12-year-old son was not at school, he was informed the child had died as the result of a seizure two days prior. The school announced the child’s death and had a fundraiser to pay for funeral expenses, which Blanchard said would be at Sykes Funeral Home. When the school contacted the funeral home to donate the money, they had no record of the family or any arrangements.

The school reached out to Blanchard again, and she explained the child’s body was at Tennova, awaiting an autopsy. Two weeks later, the child’s school-issued laptop was realized to be active at the Vacation Motor Motel.

Deputies responded to the location and found the boy in the room, but otherwise alive and well. Vanessa Blanchard admitted to leaving the child there alone and checking on him every other day, or so. Blanchard is charged with contributing to the delinquency of a child, and fraud – false impression of death. She remains jailed on a $5,000 bond.

21-year-old Ern’Drinque Walker was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on January 6th, charged with domestic assault. Court records allege she bit her husband, Treyvon Johnson, in a struggle over a phone.

In 20202, Trevyon was also charged with domestic assault after Ern’Drinque reported to police he “bear-hugged” her too tightly in another fight over a phone.

21-year-old SPC La’Joy Curry was booked into the Montgomery County Jail this week, charged with the domestic assault of her ex-husband, SPC Gordon Curry.

Gordon called 911 to report his wife had punched him in the head as he was changing the flat tire she called and asked him to assist with. La’Joy continued to be irate and yell at the victim after police arrived. She is free on a $500 bond.

Clarksville BLM Leader Maurice Stegall charged in felony assault of white girlfriend

Clarksville’s most well-known leader and organizer for Black Lives Matter, 34-year-old Orlandes Maurice Stegall, was jailed Saturday after witnesses reported a black man with a gun driving a Chevy Silverado was arguing with a white female in a Ford Edge as both vehicles were traveling near Ft. Campbell Blvd.

The woman was identified as Stegall’s girlfriend, Crystal McAdams, told police she had confronted Stegall about a rumor she had heard, and why he was leaving the house at 3 a.m. all “dressed up”. She says he slapped her in the face, grabbed her by the neck, and broke her phone when she tried to call 911. She then grabbed her child and fled the home in her vehicle for safety, and Maurice Stegall followed in his vehicle. He is charged with felony aggravated assault, vandalism, and interference with a 911 call.

Youth football coach charged in assault of his pregnant daughter & juvenile son — Dontavious Smith

39-year-old Youth Football Coach Dontavious Lee Smith (AKA ‘Coach Tay’) is charged with two counts of domestic assault after his children attempted to intervene during and after an assault on his wife. Smith reportedly assaulted and strangled his 15-year-old son when the child attempted to break up a physical assault between Smith and his wife.

When his daughter, who is pregnant, learned of the assault she came to the residence to confront him and he reportedly hit her in the face, causing her to make the 911 call. Smith had fled the scene when police arrived. He was arrested days later and is now free on a $12,500 bond.

24-year-old Sarah Kuhlman is charged with the assault and bodily injury of Jashia Huey. An arrest warrant alleges she came to the victim’s workplace on Dover Road and punched her in the face multiple times after a verbal altercation.

Traffic: Injury wreck at 101st & Peachers Mill

#TRAFFIC: The Clarksville Police Department is working a wreck with injuries on the 101st Airborne Division Parkway, Westbound between Peachers Mill Rd. and Ringgold Rd. The wreck occurred at approximately 10:26 am. and involved three vehicles, one of the injured is being life-flighted to Nashville.

The status of their injuries is unknown at this time. Investigators from the Fatal Accident Crash Team (FACT) are en route to process the scene. Westbound lanes of the 101st have been reduced to one lane and CPD is asking the public to find alternate routes until the roadway can be completely cleared.

DUI: Man crashes into culvert half-mile off roadway — DeAnthonee Simmons

23-year-old DeAnthonee Simmons was booked into the Montgomery County Jail after officers found him crashed in a culvert near Ft Campbell Blvd & Collier Road just before midnight on New Year’s Eve. The vehicle was wrecked with Simmons in the driver’s seat, approximately a half-mile off the roadway.

Clarksville Police Officer Benjamin Tribbett asked him how he ended up in this predicament, and Simmons was unsure how he got there. The officer suspected Simmons of driving under the influence, and he was transported to booking to be charged, after a stop at Tennova Sango for a blood draw. Simmons is free on a $2,500 bond.

31-year-old Tyler Vincent is charged with domestic assault after Clarksville Police Officer Timothy Westerlund responded to a North Clarksville home and met with Kayla Finn, who explained her live-in boyfriend picked her up against her will, carried her down the stairs to the living room, and shoved her into the couch. She says he then placed his hand over her mouth and face, making it hard for her to breathe.

Vincent reportedly admitted to shoving her onto the couch, and says the argument was over her work schedule. Vincent is free on a $1,000 bond.

Man busts into home & beats down man on couch with ex-girlfriend — David Ashrif Samy

Dejah Blackwell and Tyler Tornay say they were sitting on the couch in a residence on Stone Mountain Road on New Year’s Eve when they heard a car horn and suddenly the front door of the home flew open. They say 24-year-old David Samy, who is Blackwell’s ex-boyfriend, appeared without notice or invitation and began to beat Tyler in the face with his fists. Samy pushed Blackwell down into a table and tossed her phone when she tried to stop the assault and attempted to call police.

A warrant was issued for Samy’s arrest, as he fled the scene, and he was booked on the outstanding warrants for felony burglary of a habitation, domestic assault, and interference with an emergency call this week. He posted an $8,000 cash bond and was released.

23-year-old Zaria Metcalfe faces multiple charges after fleeing from officers during a suspected DUI traffic stop. Once she was in custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail she refused to change out of her clothing and into a smock, prompting MCSO Officer Luketic to threaten to use chemical spray on her if she didn’t comply.

She continued to refuse and stated: “B*tch, Spray Me!” – and the officers obliged with a “short burst” of chemical spray to her face. As the officer felt she was complying, Zaria Metcalfe punched her in the face.
